Brie Larson stars as Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, in 2019's "Captain Marvel." Carol is an ex-U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and member of Starforce whose DNA was fused with that of a Kree during an accident, giving her superhuman strength, energy projection and flight.

Brie Larson has an Oscar, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe and she's only 29 years old. The California native first came to fame as a teen starring in "Raising Dad," "Hoot" and "United States of Tara." She went on to earn an Academy Award and Globe for her work in 2015's "Room" before starring in "Trainwreck" and "Kong: Skull Island."
