Henry Golding is gearing up to be Hollywood's next leading man. The 31-year-old actor began his career as a TV host on a number of international shows including "8tv Quickie" and BBC's "The Travel Show" before transitioning into acting. In fact, "Crazy Rich Asians" is his first professional acting role — but definitely won't be his last! The British-Malaysian star is already scheduled to appear in the 2018 drama film "A Simple Favor Sean" and 2019's "Monsoon." Movies aren't the only new thing Henry is diving into. The incredibly handsome actor recently took on the role of husband, marrying Italian-Taiwanese TV presenter Liv Lo in 2016.
Michelle Yeoh stars as Eleanor Sung-Young, Nick's domineering mother, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Michelle Yeoh has had a long and successful in career in both Hong Kong and American film. The Malaysian actress first came to fame in the 1990s starring in a series of popular Hong Kong action films such as "Police Story 3: Super Cop" and "The Heroic Trio." American audiences were introduced to the talented star when she took on the role of Wai Lin in the 1997 James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies." Her status as an in-demand Hollywood actress was solidified with her performances in "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon," "Memoirs of a Geisha" and "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor." Next up, Michelle will star in "Blazing Samurai" and "Cheung Tin-Chi." The 56-year-old star, who was previously married to Hong Kong entrepreneur Dickson Poon, has been engaged to French motorsports executive Jean Todt since 2008.
Awkwafina stars as Peik Lin, Rachel's college best friend who lives in Singapore, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Awkwafina is new to Hollywood but is already taking the industry by storm. The New York native, who began her career as a rapper at age 13, has already appeared in a number of big films including "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising," "Storks" and "Ocean's 8" (not bad for a beginner, huh?). Awkwafina first came on the scene in 2014 when her lyrical response to a Mickey Avalon song earned her 2 million views on YouTube. She released her debut album, "Yellow Ranger," in February 2014 and a followup album, "In Fina We Trust," in June 2018. Coming up next, the actress will star in the fantasy film "Paradise Hills." Awkwafina is also single, tweeting in February 2018 that "dating sucks."
Ken Jeong plays Wye Mun, Peik Lin's wealthy father, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Ken Jeong is a hilarious actor we've come to know and love. The 49-year-old licensed physician, who stopped practicing medicine in order to pursue acting, appeared on NBC's "The Office" an HBO's "Entourage" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm" before landing his breakout role in "Knocked Up." He went on to star in a string of highly successful comedy films and shows including "Pineapple Express," "Community," "Role Models" and "Couples Retreat" before reaching A-list status as Mr. Chow in "The Hangover," "The Hangover Part II" and "The Hangover Part III." In 2015, Ken starred in, wrote and executive produced the ABC medical comedy "Dr. Ken," which ran for two seasons. In addition to "Crazy Rich Asians," he's set to star in "Departures," "Saving Zoe," "Elsewhere" and "Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween" in 2018. Ken shares twin girls with his wife, Tran Ho, who is also a doctor.
Tan Kheng Hua plays Kerry Chu, Rachel's mother, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Tan Kheng Hua is a Singaporean actress who has achieved major success in the Asian market. The 55-year-old star, who left a career in public relations to pursue acting full-time, got her start in theater. After appearing in several landmark plays — such as "Beauty World" and "Lao Jiu" — Tan shot to superstardom as Margaret on Singapore's longest running and most successful sitcom, "PCK Pte Ltd." She has gone on to act on a number of hit Hollywood shows such as "The Philanthropist" and the Netflix series "Marco Polo." Tau is a mom to daughter Shi-An, whom she shares with her husband, actor Lim Yu-Beng.
Gemma Chan stars as Astrid Leong-Teo, Nick's cousin and Michael Teo's wife, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Gemma Chan is poised to be Hollywood's next It girl. The 35-year-old British-Chinese actress has appeared on several popular English shows and movies, including "Secret Diary of a Call Girl," "Fresh Meat," "Doctor Who," "Sherlock" and "Exam." Gemma has also taken on roles in Hollywood, playing Amy Chang in "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit," Madam Ya Zhou in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and Anita/Mia on the AMC show "Humans." The London native, who graduated from Oxford with a law degree, next appears as Elizabeth Hardwick in 2018's "Mary Queen of Scots" and Doctor Minerva in 2019's "Captain Marvel." Pierre Png has amassed quite the following in his native Singapore. The 44-year-old actor, pictured here with wife Andrea De Cruz, has starred in several popular Asian shows and movies including "The Little Nyonya," "The Journey: A Voyage," "Beyond Words," "Home Truly" and "When Duty Calls." "Crazy Rich Asians" will mark his Hollywood feature-film debut. Pierre and Andrea tied the knot in 2003.
Chris Pang plays Colin Khoo, Nick's childhood best friend and Araminta Lee's fiancé, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Chris Pang is building an impressive resume in Hollywood. The 35-year-old Australian actor emerged on the scene in 2010 when he was cast to play Lee Takkam in "Tomorrow, When the War Began." Since then, Chris has appeared in "I, Frankenstein," "The Mule," "Superfast!," "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny" and the Netflix series "Marco Polo." Fans will soon be able to see him in the upcoming films "Empty by Design" and "Underdogs Rising."

Sonoya Mizuno is an actress on the rise. The Tokyo-born, Britain-raised star began her career as a trained ballerina, dancing with several ballet companies including the Semperoper Ballet in Dresden, Ballet Ireland, the New English Ballet Theatre and the Scottish Ballet. After modeling for the likes of Chanel, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent, Sonoya began acting in 2015. She made her movie debut in the science-fiction thriller "Ex Machina," which she followed with appearances in "La La Land," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Annihilation." Coming up next, the 30 year old will take on the role of Sarah in "Ambition" and Lily Chan in "Devs." Sonoya is particularly private and hasn't revealed if she's dating anyone special.
Lisa Lu plays Shang Su Yi, Nick's grandmother and the matriarch of the family, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Lisa Lu is a celebrated actress who is credited with breaking major ground for Asian-American actors in Hollywood. The 91-year-old star (we know, we can't believe it either!) began her career in the 1950s with a recurring role on "Have Gun — Will Travel." She followed that up with guest roles on "Bonanza," "The Big Valley," "The Richard Boone Show," "The Virginian," "Hawaiian Eye," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E." and "The Rebel." Her film career took off in the 1970s and '80s thanks to appearances in "The Last Emperor" and "Demon Seed," but Lisa is probably best known for her heartwarming role as An-Mei Hsu in the acclaimed 1993 film "The Joy Luck Club." The Chinese-born actress, who is also a trained opera singer, is the widow of former teacher Shelling Hwong.

Ronny Chieng will have no trouble bringing the laughs to "Crazy Rich Asians" — the Malaysia-born actor has already perfected the craft of comedy on "The Daily Show." He's currently a senior correspondent on the Comedy Central series, where he famously responded to a racist Fox News segment. The actor is also the creator and star of the sitcom "Ronny Chieng: International Student," which premiered on ABC Australia and Comedy Central Asia in 2017. Ronny, who studied law and finance in college, married Hannah Pham in September 2016.
Jimmy O. Yang plays Bernard Tai, Nick and Colin's former classmate, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Jimmy O. Yang is guaranteed to have "Crazy Rich Asians" fans cracking up. The Hong Kong-American actor left a lucrative finance career to pursue comedy in 2012 and made his television debut on the CBS series "2 Broke Girls" and his first late-night stand-up appearance on "The Arsenio Hall Show." He went on to appear on "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and "Criminal Minds" but is best known for his role as Jian-Yang on the HBO comedy series "Silicon Valley." Jimmy is the author of "How to American: An Immigrant's Guide to Disappointing Your Parents," a book in which he "shares his story of growing up as a Chinese immigrant who pursued a Hollywood career against the wishes of his parents." He is currently on a stand-up comedy tour named after the book.
Remy Hii plays Alistair Cheng, Eddie's brother and Nick and Astrid's cousin from Hong Kong, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Australian actor Remy Hii first came to fame when he starred as Van Tuong Nguyen in the four-part miniseries "Better Man" in 2013. Next up, he took on the role of Hudson Walsh in the Australian soap opera "Neighbours," but American audiences probably know him best for his role as Prince Jingim on the Netflix series "Marco Polo." Following the series' cancellation, Remy appeared on "Sisters" and the Australian television crime drama "Harrow." The Eurasian actor is reportedly hyper-focused on his career and isn't giving much thought to dating.
Fiona Xie plays Kitty Pong, Alistair's girlfriend who's a Hong Kong soap opera star, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Fiona Xie has starred in a number of popular films and shows in her native Singapore, where she's an A-list actress. The 36-year-old star appeared in "Rule No. 1," "Room in My Heart," "The Hotel," "Maggi & Me" and "Hey! Gorgeous" before leaving the entertainment industry to travel the world in 2009, citing personal reasons. After living in Hong Kong, New York City, Shanghai and Tokyo, Fiona returned to acting in 2016. She has been dating Julien Leo since 2016.
Nico Santos plays Oliver T'sien, Nick's second cousin, in 2018's "Crazy Rich Asians."
Nico Santos is a fresh face on the Hollywood scene who is building an impressive resume. The Filipino-American actor appeared on the talk-show roundtable "Chelsea Lately," the CBS series "2 Broke Girls" and in "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2" but is best known for his hilarious role as sales associate Mateo Liwanag on the NBC series "Superstore." Nico is openly gay and recently revealed his relationship with "Survivor" alum Zeke Smith in a super-sweet Instagram snap.

British-Chinese actress Jing Lusi's career is on the rise. The 33-year-old English beauty, who studied law in college, began her career in independent and international films before getting her big break as ill-fated junior doctor Tara Lo on the BBC series "Holby City." She went on to star in the award-winning play "4000 Miles," the BBC series "Josh," the Sky1 series "Stan Lee's Lucky Man" and the ITV series "Scott & Bailey."
