Devon Sawa starred as Dave "Laser" Goodman, the ringleader of the titular Holden University students, in "Slackers."
Devon Sawa stuck to mainly small independent films after he starred in 2002's "Slackers." From 2010 to 2013, he portrayed Sam Matthews on "Nikita," and then in 2016, he returned to his "SLC Punk!" alter ego Sean in the sequel "Punk's Dead: SLC Punk 2." He and "Bachelor Canada" producer Dawni Sahanovitch secretly tied the knot sometime after late 2011 and welcomed a baby boy, Hudson, in January 2014. They welcomed their second child, a baby girl named Scarlett, two years later.
Jaime King starred as Angela Patton, the object of Ethan's obsession and Dave's new crush, in "Slackers."
Jaime King went on to star in a wide range of films — from "White Chicks" and "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" to "Sin City" and "My Bloody Valentine." She's also enjoyed success on the small screen with "Kitchen Confidential," "Gary Unmarried" and "Hart of Dixie," on which she starred from 2011 to 2015. In 2005, the model-actress shot a small part in the nerd comedy "Fanboys" — and fell in love with its director, Kyle Newman. They tied the knot in November 2007 and have since welcomed two boys: James Knight in October 2013 and Leo Thames in July 2015.
Jason Schwartzman starred as Angela's stalker, "Cool" Ethan Dulles — who blackmails Dave and his pals after he catches them cheating — in "Slackers."
Jason Schwartzman, who frequently collaborates with director Wes Anderson, has appeared in countless films since 2002. His biggest hits include "Marie Antoinette," "The Darjeeling Limited," which he co-wrote, "Funny People," "Moonrise Kingdom," "Saving Mr. Banks," "The Grand Budapest Hotel" and "Big Eyes." In recent years, he's turned to television, with starring roles on Netflix's "Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp," on Starz's "Blunt Talk" and on Amazon's "Mozart in the Jungle," which he created, writes and executive produces. Jason has also enjoyed some success as a musician. He left Phantom Planet in 2003 after more than a decade as the rock band's drummer and released three albums between 2007 and 2012 under the name Coconut Records. The multi-hyphenate — who romanced Zooey Deschanel and Selma Blair early in his career — married clothing designer Brady Cunningham in July 2009. They've since welcomed two daughters: Marlowe Rivers in 2011 and Una in 2014.
Jason Segel starred as Sam Schecter, Dave's friend and accomplice — who fancies himself a ladies man — in "Slackers."
Jason Segel starred on "Undeclared" from 2001 to 2003 and portrayed Marshall Eriksen on "How I Met Your Mother" from 2005 to 2014. He's also starred in a string of hit comedies over the years, including "Knocked Up," "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "I Love You, Man," "Bad Teacher," "The Muppets," "The Five-Year Engagement," "This Is 40" and "Sex Tape" — a few of which he even wrote. His romantic conquests include "Freaks and Geeks" co-star Linda Cardellini, Michelle Williams, "Shameless" actress Bojana Novakovic and his current girlfriend of two years, photographer Alexis Mixter. He's also reportedly hooked up with Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Trachtenberg and Chloe Sevigny.
Laura Prepon starred as Angela's roommate Reanna Cass, who develops a flirtation with Sam, in "Slackers."
Laura Prepon portrayed Donna Pinciotti on "That '70s Show" from 1998 to 2006. She went on to star on two short-lived series — "October Road" and "Are You There, Chelsea?" — before scoring her next big hit with "Orange Is the New Black," which debuted in 2013. Laura also had a supporting role in 2016's "The Girl on the Train." She romanced actor Christopher Masterson, the younger brother of her "That '70s Show" co-star Danny Masterson, for nearly a decade, hooked up with Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis, dated Scott Michael Foster for five years until 2013 and was linked to Tom Cruise in 2014 before finding love with Ben Foster in 2016. They got engaged in late 2016 and are currently expecting their first child.
Michael C. Maronna starred as Jeff Davis, Dave's eccentric friend and accomplice, in "Slackers."
