11. Noah in "The Boy Next Door"
If we were ranking based on eye-candy appeal alone, this on-screen lover would chart pretty high… but desirability as a boyfriend? Not so much! In 2015's "The Boy Next Door," Jennifer Lopez plays a teacher, Claire, who's going through a separation from her husband when she gets involved with 19-year-old neighbor Noah (played by Ryan Guzman). The problem with this? Noah becomes obsessed with her — to the point of murdering others to convince her to stay with him. Needless to say, this seriously terrifying behavior makes him the least desirable of her on-screen love interests. Want to check out this thriller? Rent or buy it on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.

10. Hector in "El Cantante"
Jennifer Lopez's role in "El Cantante" wasn't much of a stretch — she played the on-screen wife of Marc Anthony's character, the famous Puerto Rican salsa singer Hector Lavoe. At the time they made the 2006 film, the power couple were married off-screen as well, so J.Lo's character, Puchi — Hector's wife who meets him as a young club dancer — had some parallels to real life. But unlike Jennifer and Marc, Hector and Puchi's love story had some dark undertones, including an HIV diagnosis, the death of their son and both lovers dying in their 40s. Despite the circumstances of this tragic love story, it was interesting to see Jennifer and Marc acting like a married couple early on in their actual marriage — and Marc was riveting as Hector. Rent or buy the film on Amazon or YouTube.
9. Larry in "Gigli"
Though it wouldn't be the last time then-real-life boyfriend Ben Affleck played her significant other on screen (they co-starred in 2004's "Jersey Girl" too), 2003's "Gigli" is definitely the most memorable. The comedy, which is known as one of the biggest box office bombs of all time, also gave us one of the least lovable on-screen partners of J.Lo's career. The duo played mobsters Larry and Ricki, and though they left town together at the end, it was hard to be invested in this criminal couple. Curious about just how bad this film could possibly be? See for yourself by buying or renting it on YouTube, Apple or Amazon!
8. Trey in "Second Act"
In 2018's "Second Act," Jennifer Lopez's character, Maya, gets a chance to climb the corporate ladder after her best friend's son jazzes up her resume with a fancier undergrad degree and positions that sound too good to be true. Meanwhile, hunky boyfriend Trey (played by Milo Ventimiglia) steals hearts as he desperately tries to start a family with Maya. Though she's originally against the idea, reuniting with the daughter she gave up for adoption as a teenager makes her more open to it and the two get back together. Stream it on Showtime, rent it on FandangoNOW or buy it on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
7. Alex in "What To Expect When You're Expecting"
2012's "What To Expect When You're Expecting" had an impressive ensemble cast that included Jennifer Lopez as photographer Holly, a woman who's working to adopt a child from Ethiopia with her husband, Alex (played by Rodrigo Santoro). Despite his reservations about becoming a dad, Alex faces his fears and goes with Holly to pick up their new child, a son named Kaleb, which gives the couple their happy ending. Buy or rent this one on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
6. Jack in "Out of Sight"
Remember this iconic pairing? Jennifer Lopez and George Clooney literally played cops and robbers in 1998's "Out of Sight." George starred as Jack, a bank robber who meets Jennifer's Karen, a U.S. Marshal, as he escapes from prison. Despite an intense spark and a later romantic interlude, at the end of the day, charming Jack is still a lifetime criminal — so Karen's decision isn't an easy one. Stream it on HBO Go, or rent or buy it on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
5. Chris in "Maid in Manhattan"
In 2002's "Maid in Manhattan," Jennifer Lopez played single mom Marisa, a hotel maid working in New York City. Marisa meets hotel guest Chris, a senatorial candidate playing by the handsome and charming Ralph Fiennes. A case of mistaken identity ensues after Marisa tries on another guest's fancy coat, and the two hit it off — but she ends up losing her job in the process. Ultimately, it's Marisa's adorable son (played by a young Tyler Posey) who helps the couple reunite — and they live happily ever after. Rent or buy it tonight on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
4. Stan in "The Back-up Plan"
2010's "The Back-up Plan" saw Jennifer Lopez starring alongside Alex O'Loughlin in a tale about her character, Zoe, deciding to become a single mother. After — as luck would have it — she's artificially inseminated, she keeps running into the handsome Stan and eventually tells him the truth about her situation. The two decide to give it a go — shortly before Zoe realizes she's pregnant with twins. What follows is a pretty standard romantic comedy with some misunderstandings, but ultimately, Stan sweetly sticks by her and intends to raise the twins as his own. If you want to watch (or re-watch!) this one, it's currently available to rent or buy on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
3. Chris in "Selena"
Jennifer Lopez got one of her sweetest and most misunderstood love interests to date in the 1997 biopic "Selena," the film that launched her to superstardom. She embodied the titular slain Tejano music star and Jon Seda was Selena Quintanilla's real-life husband, Chris Perez, a musician hired to play in the singer's band. Though her family initially disapprove, Selena forges ahead with their romance as she and Chris had a connection her family didn't understand. Despite Chris being unfairly accused of being a destructive rocker, he was actually a sweet and sensitive guy who supported Selena during her rise to fame before tragedy struck. Relive the life and romance of this Latina icon by buying or renting this movie on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
2. Massimo in "The Wedding Planner"
Technically, the runner-up on our list doesn't get the girl — but it certainly wasn't for lack of effort! A young Justin Chambers of "Grey's Anatomy" fame plays the childhood pal of Jennifer Lopez's character, Mary, in "The Wedding Planner." Mary's dad desperately wants her to marry the hunky Italian. Though Mary never develops true feelings for him, Massimo proposes via an unforgettably adorable dollhouse. Mary reluctantly accepts, but she's actually in love with one of the grooms whose wedding she's planning (we'll get to him next!).Viewers of this classic 2001 rom-com were certainly more conflicted than Mary about who was the more deserving love interest. This flick's available to stream on Showtime or Starz.
1. Steve in "The Wedding Planner"
Our pick for Jennifer Lopez's top on-screen boyfriend might be a tad controversial. But who wouldn't have fallen for adorable pediatrician Steve Edison if he'd saved your life too? 2001's "The Wedding Planner" paired J.Lo with Matthew McConaughey as Steve, the devilishly handsome and quasi-philandering groom whose nuptials she's organizing. Before he ties the knot with fiancée Fran (played by Bridgette Wilson-Sampras), Steve comes to his senses and realizes Mary is the one for him. You can stream this one on Showtime or Starz, or buy or rent it on YouTube, Apple or Amazon.
