Meet the cast of 'Widows'

A new heist thriller is coming to a theater near you! "Widows" follows a group of women who attempt a robbery to pay back a crime boss after their criminal husbands are killed on the job. Viola Davis stars as Veronica Rawlins, a Chicago teachers union executive and one of the four widows attempting the heist, in "Widows."

Viola Davis is widely regarded as one of Hollywood's best actresses. The 53-year-old star has won an Oscar, an Emmy and a Tony for her onscreen work, making her the only black actor to achieve the Triple Crown of Acting. Viola has starred in several critically acclaimed films and television shows such as "Doubt," "The Help," "Fences" and "How to Get Away With Murder." Next up, the South Carolina native will appear in "Troupe Zero" and the upcoming Harriet Tubman biopic "Harriet." Viola shares a daughter, a stepson and a stepdaughter with her husband, Julius Tennon, whom she married in 2003.

Liam Neeson stars as Harry Rawlins, Veronica's husband, in "Widows."

Liam Neeson has enjoyed a long and celebrated career in Hollywood with several acclaimed films and projects on his resume. The Northern Irish actor has appeared in "Schindler's List," "Michael Collins," "Les Misérables," "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace," "Batman Begins," the action-thriller film series "Taken" and the "The Chronicles of Narnia" trilogy. Liam, who has been nominated for one Oscar and three Golden Globes, is next scheduled to star in 2019's "Cold Pursuit" and "MIB." The 66-year-old actor shares two sons, Michéal Richardson and Daniel Neeson, with his late wife, actress Natasha Richardson. Sadly, Natasha died in 2009 after suffering a head injury while skiing.

Michelle Rodriguez stars as Linda Perelli, a store owner and one of the four widows attempting the heist, in "Widows."

Michelle Rodriguez has starred in a number of projects but is best known for her kick-butt action movies. The 40-year-old actress has appeared in "Resident Evil," "S.W.A.T.," "Avatar" and the "Fast and Furious" franchise. Fans will soon be able to catch Michelle in 2019's "Alita: Battle Angel" and "The Road To El Dorado." The Texas native, who identifies as bisexual, has made headlines in recent years for her love life. She's previously dated Vin Diesel, Olivier Martinez, Zac Efron and Cara Delevingne. She was most recently linked to 22-year-old model Jordan Barrett.

Elizabeth Debicki stars as Alice Gunner, one of the four widows attempting the heist, in "Widows."

Elizabeth Debicki is on her way to becoming Hollywood's next big A-lister. The 28-year-old Australian actress has appeared in a number of successful movies including "The Great Gatsby," "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," "The Cloverfield Paradox" and "Peter Rabbit." The nearly 6-foot-3 former ballerina also drew raves for her work in "The Night Manager" opposite Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. In 2019, Elizabeth will appear in "The Burnt Orange Heresy" and the HBO series "Lovecraft Country."

Carrie Coon stars as Amanda, a new mom and one of the four widows attempting the heist, in "Widows."

Carrie Coon is well on her way to greater stardom. The 37-year-old actress first made headlines when she played Nora Durst on the HBO drama series "The Leftovers" starting in 2014. Three years later, she starred on FX's "Fargo," earning herself an Emmy nomination. She has since appeared in "The Post," "The Keeping Hours," "The Sinner" and "Avengers: Infinity War." Fans will soon be able to catch her in the upcoming thriller "The Nest." Carrie welcomed her first child, son Haskell, with actor husband Tracy Letts in March 2018.

Brian Tyree Henry stars as Jamal Manning, a crime boss to whom the widows are indebted, in "Widows."

Brian Tyree Henry is definitely making a name for himself in Hollywood. The 36-year-old actor landed his breakout role in 2016 when he was cast to play Paper Boi in the award-winning FX show "Atlanta." He has since appeared on "This Is Us" and "Vice Principals" and in Broadway's "Lobby Hero." Brian — who's been nominated for an Emmy and a Tony — will appear in a 2019 reboot of "Child's Play."

Colin Farrell stars as Jack Mulligan, a politician who finds himself mixed up in the widows' plans, in "Widows."

Colin Farrell has established himself as one of Hollywood's go-to actors. The Irish star first came to fame in the early 2000s with movies like "Tigerland" and "Phone Booth." He has since appeared in major films and TV shows such as "Alexander," "Horrible Bosses," "Fright Night," "Saving Mr. Banks," "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and "The Lobster," for which he received a Golden Globe nomination. In 2019, Colin will star in the live-action Disney remake "Dumbo." The 42-year-old actor shares teenage son James, who has Angelman syndrome, with ex-girlfriend Kim Bordenave and another son, Henry, with Polish actress ex Alicja Bachleda-Curuś. Colin was most recently in a serious relationship with Kelly McNamara, who works for Irish rock band U2.

Cynthia Erivo stars as Belle, a hairdresser who joins the heist crew as the getaway driver, in "Widows."

Cynthia Erivo is making the jump from the stage to the movie screen and we couldn't be more excited. The 31-year-old British actress has built her career in theater, starring in "The Color Purple" on Broadway, the "Sister Act" musical and the West End musical "I Can't Sing! The X Factor Musical." In 2018, Cynthia starred in her first two films, "Bad Times at the El Royale" and "Widows." She will join "Widows" co-star Viola Davis in the 2019 Harriet Tubman biopic "Harriet." Cynthia has dated fellow actor Dean John-Wilson since 2013.

Daniel Kaluuya stars as Jatemme Manning, Jamal's brother and enforcer, in "Widows."

Daniel Kaluuya is a star on the rise. The 29-year-old British actor appeared in "Skins," "Black Mirror," "Psychoville" and "The Fades" before landing his breakout role in 2017's "Get Out." His performance as Chris Washington earned him Oscar, Golden Globe, SAG Award and BAFTA Award nominations for best actor. He received more recognition in 2018 when he acted in the global blockbuster "Black Panther." Next up, Daniel will star in "Watership Down" and "A Christmas Carol." He is currently dating British actress and development producer Amandla Crichlow.

Robert Duvall stars as Tom Mulligan, Jack's father and a power broker at odds with his son, in "Widows."

Robert Duvall is a Hollywood legend who has been acting since the 1950s. The 87-year-old star has been in some of the industry's most iconic films including "To Kill a Mockingbird," "The Twilight Zone," "The Godfather," "The Godfather Part II," "Apocalypse Now" and "Tender Mercies," for which he won an Academy Award. The seven-time Oscar nominee has been married four times and is currently wed to 46-year-old Luciana Pedraza.
