Former employee claims Martina McBride abused unpaid interns, files lawsuit
A former employee filed a lawsuit against Martina McBride and husband John claiming he was fired for reporting their alleged mistreatment of unpaid interns to authorities. Richard Hanson, who headed the couple's internship program until 2017, is seeking more than $1 million in damages, according to documents obtained by TMZ on June 12.

Danny Kirwan, a singer and former Fleetwood Mac guitarist (pictured), died on June 8 at age 68. No cause of death was announced. Elvis Presley's longtime drummer, D.J. Fontana, died in his sleep in Nashville at age 87 on June 13. Lorraine Gordon, the longtime owner of New York's Village Vanguard jazz club, died of complications from a stroke at age 95 on June 9.

Kanye West's album "Ye" debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart on June 12 after selling 205,000 equivalent album units. If that wasn't enough reason for Kanye to smile, all seven tracks from the album debuted in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Taylor Swift's dancer apologizes after posting sexist memes
Kim "Toshi" Davidson, a longtime dancer for Taylor Swift, issued an apology on June 9 after he was called out for posting a series of sexist memes — one of which joked about sexual assault. "I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the insensitivity of my social media posts," Toshi wrote. "While they are not a reflection of my views, they are offensive and in bad taste. I deeply regret my action, and I'm heartbroken that I hurt my fans and followers who have encouraged me and have always believed in me."
Kid Rock apologizes for 2017 Senate campaign publicity stunt
