Sure, Las Vegas is known for gambling, late-night partying and naked princes, but our favorite Sin City tradition is the quickie wedding. Wonderwall.com is taking a look at some of our favorite stars who've chosen to tie the knot in Vegas, starting with this couple… After attending the Billboard Music Awards at Vegas's MGM Grand Garden Arena in May 2019, Jonas Brothers singer-guitarist Joe Jonas and "Game of Thrones" actress Sophie Turner headed to the nearby Chapel L'Amour inside the Little White Wedding Chapel and exchanged vows in front of an Elvis impersonator. Joe's bandmate brothers, Nick and Kevin, were there, country duo Dan + Shay performed as Sophie walked down the aisle and DJ-producer Diplo livestreamed the nuptials on Instagram. In March 2019, Nicolas Cage tied the knot with makeup artist girlfriend Erika Koike in Las Vegas the same day they applied for a marriage license. However, their union didn't last very long: Four days later, the "National Treasure" star filed for an annulment, claiming he and his fourth bride drank "to the point of intoxication" before the wedding and that he wasn't aware of her "relationship with another person" when he married her. She argued the marriage was legit. The annulment was denied and they were divorced by June. "There was a recent breakup," he told The New York Times a few months later. "I don't really want to talk about it. I was pretty upset about that and the way things happened." Ouch!

For Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, art imitated life. The couple met on the set of "All My Children" in 1995 when Mark was hired to play Mateo Santos, the love interest of Kelly's Hayley Vaughan. Their characters wed on the show in 2000 (pictured), but four years earlier in 1996, Kelly and Mark eloped in Las Vegas after a year of dating — and without first getting engaged. "It just happened. The next thing you know, we're married, and then four months later we were pregnant," Mark told Redbook. "It was a crazy way to get into a relationship."

Britney Spears' 55-hour-long marriage to childhood pal Jason Alexander following a quickie Las Vegas wedding in January 2004 made headlines around the world. These two crazy kids reportedly hatched a scheme to marry while partying at Ghostbar in the Palms Casino Hotel. A hotel bellhop taxied the duo in a lime green limo to the Little White Wedding Chapel where they exchanged vows at 5:30 a.m. a few days into the New Year. With no friends or family in attendance, Brit was escorted down the aisle by the bellhop. When the pop star annulled her marriage shortly after, she claimed the whole thing was a joke that got out of hand.

Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton shocked the world — and Billy Bob's then-girlfriend, Laura Dern — when they wed in Las Vegas in May 2000 after just a few months as a clandestine couple. The "Pushing Tin" co-stars spent a whopping $189 on their wedding ceremony at Las Vegas's Little Church of the West — not much more than we're guessing Angelina spent to have her new husband's name tattooed on her left shoulder. The duo divorced in May 2003.

Talk about a rush to the altar! Cindy Crawford and Richard Gere were in such a hurry to wed that they didn't have time to purchase rings for their wedding ceremony. The couple flew to Vegas from Los Angeles with a few friends during a break in Richard's "Mr. Jones" filming schedule and exchanged wedding bands made out of twisted chewing gum wrappers when they tied the knot at the Little Church of the West Wedding Chapel in December 1991. The couple separated just 11 days before their three-year anniversary in 1994.

This athletic couple's union is different from other quickie Vegas nuptials. Tennis stars Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi, who started dating in 1999 after Andre split from first wife Brooke Shields, wed during a super-secret ceremony at their Las Vegas home in October 2001 with only their mothers and witnesses present. The couple were expecting their first child at the time — the reason for their quickie ceremony. "Becoming parents definitely puts a time frame on getting married," Andre told London's Daily Telegraph two months before they exchanged vows. Steffi gave birth to their first child, son Jaden Gil, just four days after the wedding.

In October 2016, Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth married in Las Vegas and livestreamed the ceremony as part of Viva Las Vegas's King Tut wedding package. Although the "Honey Boy" actor publicly confirmed their marriage on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that same month, Nevada's Clark County Clerk of Courts office cast doubt on the legality of the nuptials. "Our records show no marriage license for Shia LaBeouf and Mia Goth. A commitment ceremony was performed #Vegas," the office tweeted. In 2018, Shia's rep told the media the actor and Mia had filed for divorce but in early 2020, they appeared to have rekindled their romance: Shia was seen wearing his wedding band again and they were spotted out together.

Cher wed Allman Brothers rocker Gregg Allman in June 1975 on a Learjet in Las Vegas. The duo tied the knot just three days after Cher's divorce from Sonny Bono was finalized. And, like many other marriages that began in Vegas, this one wasn't made to last: After welcoming a son together, they filed for divorce in 1979.

In 2007, Pamela Anderson and a longtime pal, professional poker player Rick Salomon, married at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas. Their union was short-lived — the former "Baywatch" star filed for divorce just two months later. In 2014, however, the duo remarried only to split up once again the following year. In 2019, MailOnline reported that Rick wanted to reignite his romance with Pam for a third time, but that ship appears to have sailed.

Demi Moore met Bruce Willis in August 1987 at a screening of "Stakeout," which Demi attended to support ex-fiance Emilio Estevez. After only three months of dating, Bruce gifted her with a diamond "friendship ring," and 10 days later, the couple wed in a suite at the Golden Nugget hotel in Las Vegas that November. Because only a few guests joined the movie stars at their nuptials, the couple threw a lavish black-tie event in Los Angeles the following month to officially celebrate their union. After having three daughters, they split in June 1998 after nearly 11 years of marriage.

Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson started dating when the actress was just 14. They met on the set of "The Harrad Experiment," in which Don, then 22, had a small role alongside Melanie's mom, actress Tippi Hedren. Four years later in January 1976, the couple wed in Las Vegas once Melanie turned 18. Though their marriage ended after just six months, Melanie and Don reunited and wed for a second time in 1989. Their second marriage lasted until 1996.

Actors Corey Feldman and Vanessa Marcil wed in Las Vegas in August 1989. The couple dated for less than a year before they tied the knot, and the "General Hospital" actress kept the marriage a secret from her family for a year after they wed. They split in 1993.

Actress Carmen Electra and NBA bad boy Dennis Rodman wed at the Little Chapel of the Flowers in November 1998 after just eight months of dating. Nine days later, the basketball star filed for annulment, claiming he was inebriated during the nuptials. "You think it's romantic, but then you realize, 'God, we did it in Vegas?'" Carmen later told People magazine. "It's like getting a cheeseburger at a fast-food restaurant."

A Sin City success story! In July 2003, Leah Remini and actor Angelo Pagán tied the knot at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas. The couple filmed their gorgeous ceremony for a VH1 special. In 2004, just one year after saying "I Do," they welcomed daughter Sofia Bella into the world.

"Lost" actor Doug Hutchison and his 16-year-old bride, Courtney Stodden — then an aspiring music star — tied the knot in Las Vegas's Little Chapel of Flowers in May 2011. The "Green Mile" actor announced his controversial nuptials — he's 35 years Courtney's senior — on his website. "Mr. and Mrs. Hutchison live together happily ensconced in their Hollywood Hills home with their lil' pups, Everette and Tuna," he wrote. Their divorce was finalized in 2020.

Heiress Nicky Hilton and businessman Todd Meister said "I do" at the Vegas Wedding Chapel in August 2004. The duo tied the knot around 2:30 a.m. in front of Nicky's sister, Paris Hilton, and pals Nicole Richie and Bijou Phillips as well as Paris's Chihuahua, Tinkerbell, who served as ring bearer. They annulled their marriage less than two months later.

Singer-actress Christina Milian and music producer The Dream wed in an intimate ceremony at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in September 2009 just two months after they announced their engagement. The bride rented her wedding gown for $200 and the groom wore a $100 tux. The couple later shared a second set of vows in front of three friends at the Roman Cavalieri Hotel rooftop, but they split after less than a year of marriage — and while Christina was five months pregnant with their daughter, Violet.

Sinead O'Conor wed Barry Herridge at Vegas's drive-thru Little White Wedding Chapel on Dec. 8, 2011 — her 45th birthday. The duo tied the knot in the back of a pink Cadillac, which matched Sinead's wedding gown, in a 10-minute ceremony. Later, the chapel's employees sang "Happy Birthday" to the bride. The couple split 18 days later. Apparently, Barry wasn't happy that he spent his wedding night on a wild goose chase to score some pot for his new bride. "My husband was enormously wounded and very badly effected by that experience and also by the attitude of those close to him toward our marriage," Sinead said on her website. "I truly believe though it is painful to admit, we made a mistake rushing into getting married, for altruistic reasons, and weren't aware or prepared for the consequences on my husband's life and the lives of those close to him. He has been terribly unhappy and I have therefore ended the marriage. I think he is too nice to do so. And too nice to trap."
