'24' cast: Where are they now?

It was 15 years ago on Nov. 6, 2001, that the addictive "24" first aired on FOX. From 2001 to 2010, viewers were desperate to find out what Jack Bauer was up to as he saved the world again and again. The TV show featured some actors and actresses who were already stars at the time, but it also gave several others a start. Keep reading to find out what happened to the biggest and most memorable stars from "24."

Since "24" wound down, Kiefer Sutherland has starred in movies and TV series and voiced video games. He'll appear in two films slated for release in 2017: a reboot of his 1990 hit movie "Flatliners," and "Beat-up Little Seagull." In 2016, he returned to network TV as the lead on ABC's drama "Designated Survivor," which sees him playing a minor cabinet official who suddenly becomes president after an attack on the Capitol wipes out everyone above him in the POTUS line of succession. He's so good on the show that some fans wish they could elect him in the real-life 2016 presidential election.

Elisha Cuthbert parlayed her success (and good looks) into a respectable acting career, starring in a bevy of films in the mid-aughts. Nowadays, she sticks mainly to TV series and can be seen on Netflix's "The Ranch" opposite Ashton Kutcher. A huge hockey fan (after all, she is Canadian), Elisha married Ottawa Senators star Dion Phaneuf in 2013.

After "24," Mary Lynn Rajskub was never really able to catch that sort of lighting in a bottle, but she has mounted a career of bit roles in a quite a few films, including "Little Miss Sunshine" and "Sweet Home Alabama." To this day, she regularly performs stand-up comedy and was a regular panelist on "Chelsea Lately" when it aired on E! In 2009, she married personal trainer Matthew Rolph in an impromptu Las Vegas wedding. She's also a mom to son Valentine Anthony.

Since "24," Carlos Bernard's resume has been chock-full of television roles. His biggest include regular gigs on the "Dallas" reboot as well as on CBS' "The Inspectors," and he'll reprise his role as Tony Almeida when the "24" spin-off "24: Legacy" premieres in February 2017.

After "24," Sarah Clarke became a hot commodity and was cast in the "Twilight" films as Bella's mom, Renee. She also acted in a multitude of films and TV shows. She can now be seen on "NCIS," where she was cast in the sought-after role of FBI Special Agent Tess Monroe. She's also a mainstay on the Amazon series "Bosch." On a personal front, Sarah is married to Xander Berkeley, whom she met on the set of "24."

Since the show, Dennis Haysbert has voiced video games, acted on TV series and starred in blockbuster movies like "Ted 2" and "Kung Fu Panda 2." But, of course, not a day goes by where we don't see him on TV commercials while he pitches Allstate. In 2017, he's set to star in a film opposite Ice Cube called "Fist Fight" and opposite Jason Sudeikis in "Kodachrome."

Kim Raver went on to play some big roles including on shows likes "Lipstick Jungle," but she's perhaps most beloved as Dr. Teddy Altman on "Grey's Anatomy." Though she left the series in 2012, fans still her to come back. Look for her next on FOX's upcoming medical procedural series "Zoobiquity."

Xander Berkeley married "24" co-star Sarah Clarke. He's been on "The Mentalist" and "Nikita" since his run on "24" ended. In 2016, he started playing Gregory on "The Walking Dead." He's a series regular on the AMC show now, so get used to seeing more of him again… just like in the '90s.

Glenn Morshower may as well be unofficially known as "that guy who's in everything." Since "24," his resume has been so packed that there's too much to even list, but fans should know he's played small parts in a ton of movies and TV shows. He's also played big parts in big shows like "Friday Night Lights" and "Scandal." Nothing seems to stop Glenn, as he now stars on "Supergirl" and "Bloodline." He also has an absolute cache of movies coming out later in 2016 and in 2017. Like we said, he's "that guy who's in everything."

After "24," Penny Johnson landed roles on several shows. Fans of "Castle" will never forget her as Captain Gates, a part she played to the hilt for five years. She most recently filmed shows called "Parker's Anchor" and "Media," so she's staying on the small screen for a while.

After "24," Katee Sackhoff's future was bright. The "Battlestar Galactica" vet went on to land roles in a few movies, but she really did well for herself as a voice actress on "Robot Chicken." Now, she's a lead on Netflix's "Longmire," a role she's played for five seasons.
