It's tool time! Whether you were a DIYer or not, it was hard not to love Tim Allen's handyman character and his all-American family on the hit TV series "Home Improvement," which debuted way back in 1991. In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the show's finale on May 25, 2019, let's take a look at what Tim and his co-stars are up to today.

Tim Allen starred on "Home Improvement" as Tim Taylor, who juggled life as a husband and father of three with his job as the host of a home improvement show called "Tool Time."

Tim Allen clearly has a thing for family TV shows — he's currently the lead on another long-running series, ABC's "Last Man Standing." He's also the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the "Toy Story" film franchise and reprises his role in 2019's "Toy Story 4." Tim's been happily married to Jane Hajduk since 2006. He has two daughters — one with Jane and one with his first wife. The comedian has stayed out of trouble since going to rehab after a 1997 DUI arrest and doing jail time in the '80s for a drug-trafficking offense.

Patricia Richardson starred on "Home Improvement" as Tim Taylor's wife, Jill, who kept the whole family in check.

Patricia Richardson's acting career has cooled off some in recent years, though she made a guest appearance on her "Home Improvement" co-star Tim Allen's show "Last Man Standing" in 2015. She had a great run on the TV series "Strong Medicine" from 2002 to 2005, plus a recurring role on "The West Wing" in 2006. She most recently guest starred on a 2019 episode of NBC's "Blindspot." The seemingly single star has three grown kiddos from her marriage to Ray Baker, which ended in 1995.

Since his days as a teen heartthrob in the '90s, Jonathan Taylor Thomas's acting career has slowed considerably. But the former teen dream (seen here in 2013), who took time off from acting to earn a degree from Columbia University, has stayed out of the spotlight for the most part — especially when it comes to his personal life.

Debbe Dunning hasn't spent much time in front of the camera in recent years. She acted on the TV show "Wicked Wicked Games" back in 2006 and more recently hosted her own travel series, "Debbe Dunning's Dude Ranch Roundup," on RFD-TV. The brunette has found more success in her family life: She has three children with volleyball player Steve Timmons, whom she wed in 2007. The couple split in 2018.
