"Wicked Tuna" star Nicholas "Duffy" Fudge dead at 28
Fisherman Nicholas "Duffy" Fudge, who appeared on "Wicked Tuna" and "Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks," died at age 28 on July 19, New Hampshire's Remick & Gendron Funeral Home confirmed to The Associated Press. A cause of death was not released. Duffy served as the first mate of the Pinwheel under Capt. Tyler McLaughlin.

"Teen Mom" star Jenelle Evans pulls out gun in front of son during road rage incident
On the July 23 episode of "Teen Mom 2," which was filmed earlier this year, Jenelle Evans followed another driver to his home — and pulled a gun on him — after he cut her off on the highway, causing her to swerve dangerously while driving with her 8-year-old son, Jace. Things escalated quickly at the other driver's home: He attempted to block the mother of three from leaving after she unintentionally backed into his mailbox, prompting her to pull out her weapon as her son looked on and as MTV cameras rolled. (Ultimately, the network chose note to show Jenelle brandishing the weapon.)

Jeanine Pirro took aim at Whoopi Goldberg on the July 21 episode of her Fox News show "Justice with Judge Jeanine." After showing an extended clip of her blowup with the Oscar winner during a July 19 appearance on "The View" and criticizing liberals for their vitriol against Donald Trump, the conservative host said, "Some of you may not know that I've known Whoopi Goldberg for years, and our relationship up until this week has always been friendly. Furthermore, I've been a guest on 'The View' many times before Thursday's appearance and was always treated with respect. … To Whoopi, I accept that you and I have different versions of what happened on Thursday — both on and off the air — and that we have completely different takes on President Trump and the job he's doing. So let's agree to disagree and put this episode to bed once and for all." The judge ended her show with a nod to Goldberg's July 20 comments about preferring Pirro's book on Robert Durst to her new book about Trump. "Thanks, Whoopi, and may I say, I preferred you in the movie 'Ghost' much more than I do on 'The View,'" said Pirro. "But then again, we're all entitled to our opinions."

Former MTV VJ Jesse Camp contacts police, no longer considered missing
California's Riverside Police Department tweeted on July 24 that Jessie Camp is "no longer considered missing." Local law enforcement contacted the former MTV VJ and determined that he was "not in need of any assistance." His family was then notified. The "I Wanna Be a VJ" alum's sister, Marisha Camp, filed a missing persons report on July 19 after her brother seemingly disappeared for several days. "Jesse was last seen in California last week but has not reached out to us yet. What he needs now more than anything is kindess and love … Please keep him in your prayers," she wrote on Instagram on July 23. "If you see him, please let him know that many, many people care."

Sara Haines is leaving "The View" to host the new third hour of ABC's "Good Morning America" with Michael Strahan. The network announced on July 23 that the new show, which will replace "The Chew" on the daily lineup, will be called "GMA Day" and will debut on Sept. 10.

Elmarie Wendel — who portrayed the Solomon family's eccentric landlady, Mrs. Dubcek, on NBC's "3rd Rock from the Sun" from 1996 to 2001 — died at the age of 89. Her daughter, actress J.C. Wendel, confirmed the news on Instagram on July 21, writing, "#ripelmariewendel you were a great mom and a bada– dame."
Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright will appear on "Madam Secretary" season premiere
Three former secretaries of state — Hillary Clinton, Colin Powell and Madeleine Albright — will portray themselves on the premiere of the fifth season of "Madam Secretary," which debuts on Oct. 7. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the episode will depict Tea Leoni's fictional Secretary of State Elizabeth McCord reaching out to her predecessors for their advice on "a delicate matter." The trio reportedly filmed their cameos on July 11. Albright previously appeared on a Season 2 episode of the CBS drama.
Kelsey Grammer reportedly looking to reboot "Frasier"
"Frasier" star and executive producer Kelsey Grammer is trying to reboot the beloved sitcom, Deadline reported on July 25, noting that the new show will likely be set in a new city with the title character serving as a link to the original 1993 series. According to Deadline, "Grammer is currently meeting with writers who are pitching different concepts for the potential followup series" and "if the producers settle on a writer and a premise, the project could move beyond exploratory stage."
When will the final season of "Game of Thrones" debut?
The eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" will debut in the "first half" of 2019, Casey Bloys, the president of programming at HBO, said during the network's Television Critics Association Press Tour panel on July 25. Bloys also shot down rumors that the "GoT" prequel series will start shooting in just a few months. "I don't know where that report came from. We're hoping to go into production in early '19," he said. The new show has yet to nail down a director or cast.
Chris Hardwick to return as "Talking Dead" host following AMC investigation
AMC announced that "following a comprehensive assessment," Chris Hardwick will return as the host of AMC's "Talking Dead" — the popular "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead" aftershow — on Aug. 12. The network suspended the comedian last month and conducted an internal investigation into his behavior after his ex-girlfriend, Chloe Dykstra, accused him of emotionally and sexually abusing her during their relationship. "We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step," AMC said in a statement. Hardwick will also return to AMC's "Talking with Chris Hardwick," though the network has yet to announce when the second season of that show will debut.
