The one mystery "The Big Bang Theory" will leave unsolved
"The Big Bang Theory" executive producer Steve Molaro said on March 30 that the CBS sitcom's writers have no intention of revealing Penny's maiden name before the series wraps on May 16. "[Eventually] we got nervous and superstitious about giving her one," he said during the show's WonderCon panel in Anaheim, California. He then added that Penny's last name "will always be Hofstadter." Kaley Cuoco's onscreen alter ego took her husband's last name after she married Johnny Galecki's Leonard Hofstadter in Season 10.
"JAG" reunion: Catherine Bell to join David James Elliott on "NCIS: Los Angeles"
Catherine Bell will return to her iconic "JAG" role — Lieutenant Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie — on the finale of Season 10 of "NCIS: Los Angeles" on May 19. David James Elliot will also appear on the season finale — as well as on the season's penultimate episode — as his former "JAG" alter ego, Navy Captain Harmon Rabb Jr. Several former "JAG" stars have popped up on episodes of the original spinoff series, "NCIS," as well as "NCIS: L.A." over the years.

Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her family are considering suing Hulu over "The Act"
Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her family are considering legal action against the creators of "The Act," a Hulu limited series based on her life. (On the five-part drama, Joey King stars as Gypsy, while Patricia Arquette portrays Gypsy's mother, who was murdered in 2015.) According to Gypsy's stepmother, Kristy Blanchard, the show's creators originally promised to fork over some of the proceeds from the series to the Blanchards but then abruptly cut off communication with the family, who are working with another screenwriter on a rival TV project based on Gypsy's life. The screenwriter claims to be the only person with the legal rights to Gypsy's story.

Meghan McCain battles Joy Behar again: "You disagree that I'm smart?"
On the April 2 episode of "The View," Joy Behar and Meghan McCain sparred over democratic socialism while discussing Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg. After Meghan pointed out that according to a recent poll, only 25 percent of Americans are comfortable with the idea of a "socialist" becoming president, Joy suggested that once voters have a better understanding of what "democratic socialism" means, they'll "come around." A frustrated Meghan replied, "People are smart, OK?" Said Joy, "So am I!" Echoed Meghan, "So am I! So am I." Joy then said, "I disagree." Fired back Meghan, "You disagree that I'm smart?" Joy went on to say that she "disagrees with the idea that socialism is a bad thing." Concluded Meghan, "I'm just trying to explain to you the other side and why [Buttigieg is] a great candidate and why democratic socialists could be leading you toward … Trump getting reelected. But instead I'm told that I don't understand what democratic socialism is. I assure you, Joy, I do."
"The Umbrella Academy" renewed for Season 2 at Netflix
Netflix announced on April 2 that "The Umbrella Academy" will be back for a 10-episode second season, with production to kick off in Toronto this summer. Season 1 stars Ellen Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher and Justin Min, who will all be back, as will the show's Season 1 showrunner and executive producers.
"CBS This Morning" co-host Bianna Golodryga to exit network
CBS News released a statement on April 3 announcing that "CBS This Morning" co-host Bianna Golodryga has "decided to leave" the show, which she just joined in October 2018, as well as the network. According to HuffPost, the new president of CBS News, Susan Zirinsky, hoped to keep Bianna at CBS after moving her off "This Morning," which she feels has too many anchors. But Bianna's contract stipulates that she's free to leave the network if she's not guaranteed a co-anchor role on the morning show.
Bristol Palin announces she's done with "Teen Mom OG"
Bristol Palin took to Instagram on April 1 to announce that she won't be back for another season of "Teen Mom OG." The mother of three captioned a photo of herself on the show, "teen mom OG wasn't a fit for me, it took away my peace.. and honestly — my peace has a price tag that no one but God can afford. $ doesn't impress me, I don't entertain bs, and walking away from this show allows God to rebuild me (and my little fam) in the right direction. I have love for all the girls on the show, and wish them the best of luck in all their future endeavors!!"
