Peter Weber reconciles with Madison following Hannah Ann split on "The Bachelor" finale — then ends things for good
Season 24 of "The Bachelor" ended on March 10 with Peter Weber popping the question to Hannah Ann Sluss in Australia … after Madison Prewett walked away from the competition on the previous episode over her realization that her devoutly Christian lifestyle is just too different from the pilot's. Hannah Ann happily accepted his proposal but called things off with him a couple months later (in January) when she realized he couldn't fully commit to her because he still had feelings for Madison. The episode then showed Bachelor Nation host Chris Harrison traveling to Alabama to tell Madison that Peter was single and to gauge her interest in reconciling with him. In February, Peter and Madison reunited in Los Angeles and confirmed to each other that they were, in fact, still in love. On the live portion of the finale — their first time seeing each other since their brief reunion — they revealed that they were dating but not engaged. Meanwhile, Peter's mother, Barbara, made headlines when she shared her disapproval of her son's romance with Madison. She made it clear that she favored Hannah Ann and didn't believe Peter and Madison would work in the long run. She was right: A few days after the finale, Peter and Madison announced that they were going their separate ways. "Madi and I have mutually decided to not pursue our relationship any further," Peter wrote in a lengthy Instagram post in which he also apologized to Hannah Ann.

"So You Think You Can Dance" star Danny Tidwell dies at 35
Danny Tidwell, who was the runner-up on season 3 of "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2007, died in a car accident on March 7. His brother, Emmy-winning choreographer Travis Wall — who competed on the show's second season — revealed the sad news on Instagram. Danny was 35.

Coronavirus concerns prompt "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune" to tape without live audiences
Variety reported on March 9 that "Jeopardy!" and "Wheel of Fortune" will not tape in front of live studio audiences in the near future due to the spread of the new coronavirus, which poses a threat to contestants, to guests and especially to "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek, who's immunocompromised due to his battle with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. According to a Variety source, several factors contributed to the decision: Trebek's greater risk of contracting the virus, the fact that the shows' audiences tend to skew older, and the fact that many contestants and audience members travel from out of town to attend the tapings. (The CDC has said that older adults and individuals with "serious chronic medical conditions" are at greater risk of becoming very ill from coronavirus.) Both shows are reportedly scheduled to tape episodes through mid-April on Sony's lot in Culver City, California. Other TV shows are taking a break amid the pandemic: "Grey's Anatomy" and the "NCIS" franchise shows have shut down and delayed production, as have "Survivor" and "The Amazing Race" and many others. Talk shows including "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and "The Wendy Williams Show" have also suspended production for the foreseeable future.

Rob Gronkowski signs with WWE, will debut on next week's "SmackDown"
On March 11, The Wrap reported that Rob Gronkowski signed with the WWE and is set to make his "SmackDown" debut on March 20. Back in 2017, the former New England Patriots tight end popped up on WrestleMania 33 as reinforcement for another former NFL star, his real-life pal Mojo Rawley. Gronk already has a relationship with FOX: In October, he joined Fox Sports as an NFL analyst.
Brad Pitt teams up with "Property Brothers" stars for a special home renovation on new "Celebrity IOU" show
On March 10, HGTV announced that Brad Pitt will appear on an upcoming episode of Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott's new show, "Celebrity IOU." The series, which debuts on April 13, centers around Hollywood stars showing gratitude for important people in their lives by surprising them with home renovation projects. Melissa McCarthy, Michael Bublé, Rebel Wilson and Viola Davis are also set to appear on the first season. According to "Entertainment Tonight," each episode follows the "Property Brothers" stars as they team up with A-listers who will "share an inside look into their personal lives" while getting hands-on to a design and create "a customized space for their mentors, friends and family members."
Rosie O'Donnell reacts to Elisabeth Hasselbeck returning to "The View"
Rosie O'Donnell threw some shade Elisabeth Hasselbeck's way after the conservative talking head returned to "The View" on March 11. "oh dear god – not again – enough with her," the liberal actress tweeted in response to a headline reading, "Elisabeth Hasselbeck returns to The View and sparks clash by praising Trump's coronavirus response." The two women co-hosted "The View" during the show's 10th season in 2006 and 2007. They've feuded off and on since May 2017, when they got into a major on-air altercation over the Iraq War.
Heidi Klum leaves "America's Got Talent" filming after falling ill
Heidi Klum dipped out of shooting "America's Got Talent" in Pasadena, California, on March 10. Although she was photographed smiling while arriving on set, she never made it on stage with her fellow judges. According to TMZ, the studio audience was told that the supermodel likely had a case of food poisoning, prompting new judge Sofia Vergara to joke that she sent Heidi dinner the previous evening. However, TMZ reports that the German superstar didn't actually have food poisoning — "she just felt like crap." The webloid notes that her mystery illness "has nothing to do with the coronavirus."
"Game of Thrones" star Jack Gleeson returning to acting after six-year hiatus
E! News reported on March 9 that former "Game of Thrones" star Jack Gleeson has booked his first acting gig since his stint on the HBO series came to an end in 2014 following the death of his on-screen alter ego, King Joffrey. The Irish actor is set to appear on the six-part BBC Two comedy "Out of Her Mind," which will reportedly "explore heartbreak, family and how to survive both" while incorporating a combination of animation and "scientific explanation." Back when he first kicked off his six-year hiatus from acting, Jack told Entertainment Weekly that he intended to retire completely. "I've been acting since age 8. I just stopped enjoying it as much as I used to. And now there's the prospect of doing it for a living, whereas up until now it was always something I did for recreation with my friends, or in the summer for some fun. I enjoyed it. When you make a living from something, it changes your relationship with it. It's not like I hate it, it's just not what I want to do," he said at the time.
