Sofia Vergara opens up about the upcoming death on 'Modern Family'
On Sept. 25, the entire cast of "Modern Family" appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to talk about the upcoming 10th season. The talk show host asked Sofia what she thought about the revelation that one original cast member will be killed off this season. Sofia responded: "I didn't get nervous when I heard somebody was … If I had heard somebody was going to get deported, then I would. It would either be Rico or me. I think Rico would go first." We can speculate all we want, but we'll have to tune in to see who dies (and when).
Rosie O'Donnell in the running to replace Julie Chen on "The Talk"
Just days after Julie Chen announced she was leaving her gig on "The Talk," reports emerged claiming Rosie O'Donnell is in the running to replace her on the long-running CBS talk show. "She has a proven track record, from her own show to her time on 'The View,' and despite being polarizing, she brings in viewers," a source told DailyMail.com. CBS hasn't confirmed anything yet.
Bill Cosby begins his new life in prison
Bill Cosby, 81, began his new life as an inmate at Pennsylvania state prison SCI Phoenix on Sept. 25 after a judge sentenced him to 3 to 10 years earlier that day for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman at his home 14 years ago. The disgraced comedic legend, who was found guilty in April, will also have to register as a sex offender and receive lifetime mandatory sex offender counseling.

"AGT" finalist Michael Ketterer calls domestic violence arrest a "misunderstanding"
"America's Got Talent" contestant Michael Ketterer opened up about his domestic violence arrest that happened one day after the "AGT" finale. He insisted the incident was just a "misunderstanding" though admitted that he and his wife were arguing in a hotel when security came. His wife didn't want to press charges but police arrested him anyway. Michael was released on a $50,000 bail and on Sept. 26, it was revealed he won't face felony charges but instead will discuss what happened in a hearing with the city attorney.
"The Conners" adds Johnny Galecki and Juliette Lewis to the cast
"The Conners" is set to debut on ABC on Oct. 16 and the network has announced some new cast members who will be showing up for an episode during the series' 10-show run. Johnny Galecki will reprise his role as David, which he also played on "Roseanne." Juliette Lewis will play David's girlfriend, Blue. Johnny and Juliette previously co-starred as the Griswold siblings in 1989's "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation."
Tom Arnold gets into heated argument with Megyn Kelly
While appearing on the "Megyn Kelly Today" on Sept. 25, Tom Arnold got into a heated discussion with his host while discussing Roma Downey's claim that he'd bruised her during a physical altercation between Tom and her husband, "The Apprentice" executive producer Mark Burnett, days earlier at a pre-Emmys party. The comedian — who was reportedly arguing with Mark over his long-held claims that the TV exec has tapes of President Trump saying the N-word — denied he hurt Roma, telling Megyn, "She's like, 'I'm going to be with my CEO husband when he assaults someone and I'm going to say that person assaulted me. I'm going to lie.' I didn't even see her there. That bruise [on her hand] is five days old… First of all, think about this, I went to the party, allegedly uninvited. According to them, I beat up the CEO of MGM and his wife and then I didn't get arrested or anything and I got to stay at the party all night." Megyn tried and failed to cut him off and eventually said, "Let's be honest, if you did assault her as she claims, it's no laughing matter."
TV actor deaths: Frank Parker, 79, and Paul John Vasquez, 48
This week it was revealed that "Days of Our Lives" actor Frank Parker — who played Shawn Brady for nearly 25 years — passed away from complications from dementia and Parkinson's disease at age 79 on Sept. 16. The soap opera star had retired in 2008. Additionally, "Sons of Anarchy" actor Paul John Vasquez, 48, died from suspected a heart attack on Sept. 24 at his father's home in San Jose, California.
"The Bachelor: Vietnam" contestant confesses her love for fellow female contestant
"The Bachelor: Vietnam" made headlines this week when one of the female contestants rejected the male star for another woman who was competing for his heart. "I went into this competition to find love and I've found that love for myself, but it isn't with you," Minh Thu told bachelor Nguyen Quoc Trung. "It's with someone else." Minh then went up to another contestant, Truc Nhu, and said, "Come home with me. Come home with me." The two women appeared to leave together, though Nhu returned to the show to continue to compete for the make star's love. Ain't that something!
