It's been more than five years since "Lost" aired its series finale on May 23, 2010. During its six-year run, it was one of the most buzzedabout shows of the decade. Now that star Josh Holloway is returning to television — his show "Colony" premieres on Jan. 14, 2016 — Wonderwall.com is taking a look at what he and more of the "Lost" cast members have been up to since the J.J. Abrams, Damon Lindelof and Jeffrey Lieber-created drama went off the air. Keep reading to see the cast then and now…
Josh Holloway played the role of James "Sawyer" Ford on "Lost." After being orphaned as a young boy because of the actions of a con man named Sawyer, he took on the name so he could con people too. But he did have a sensitive side…
This is Josh Holloway's year! The actor is starring on USA Network's "Colony" as Will Bowman, an ex-military FBI agent. In 2014, he starred on the TV series "Intelligence" as a former Navy SEAL and intelligence officer who can see the entire electromagnetic spectrum thanks to a computer chip in his brain. He also had a cameo in "Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol." Josh has also grown his family since leaving "Lost" — he and wife Yessica Kumala welcomed their second child, son Hunter Holloway, in 2014. Hunter joined big sis Java Holloway, who was born in 2009.
Ian Somerhalder played Boone Carlyle, a man in love with his stepsister Shannon. He encountered a crashed plane with Locke, and you could say the rest is history!
Ian Somerhalder went on to star in The CW's supernatural series "The Vampire Diaries" as sexy Damon Salvatore. He dated co-star Nina Dobrev for years until they split in May 2013. But Ian moved on and found love with actress Nikki Reed in 2014. The two animal-rescue advocates married on April 26, 2015, in Malibu, California.
Nestor Carbonell still hasn't aged! Since 2013, he's been playing the role of a sheriff on "Bates Motel." After his three years on "Lost," Nestor has also starred as Gotham's mayor in 2012's "The Dark Knight Rises" and in the TV series "State of Affairs" as Raymond Navaro for seven episodes.
Evangeline Lilly took on the role of Kate Austen, one of the survivors from the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She killed her father and spent years escaping the law. On the island, she engaged in relationships with Jack and Sawyer. Rough life!
Evangeline Lilly continued acting in films after "Lost" wound down. She played the part of Tauriel in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" and "The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies" and also starred in "Ant-Man" as Hope van Dyne. Although she dated her "Lost" co-star Dominic Monaghan for five years, Evangeline is now in a relationship with Norman Kali, a production assistant from the show. The couple welcomed a son, Kahekili, in 2011 and in October 2015, Evangeline gave birth to their second child.
Jorge Garcia was the comedic relief on "Lost" as Hugo "Hurley" Reyes. The lottery winner believed his win was a curse to those around him, and his storylines involved his mental illness.
In 2012, Jorge starred in the short-lived Fox show "Alcatraz" as Dr. Diego Soto. A year later, he landed another TV role on "Hawaii Five-O" as Jerry Ortega. He also went into film and starred in the Netflix original movie "The Ridiculous 6" with Adam Sandler in 2015.
Michelle Rodriguez played the role of tough former LAPD police officer Ana Lucia Cortez on "Lost." As one of the tail section survivors of the Oceanic Flight 815, she became their leader. Before the crash, a pregnant Ana lost her baby after being shot by a suspect at a burglary scene, and she sought vengeance.
Daniel Dae Kim starred as Jin-Soo Kwon on "Lost" and was the only castaway who didn't speak English, although he later learned the language. He is married to Sun-Hwa Kwon, and his time on the island restored their marriage as the two struggled in their relationship.
After "Lost," Daniel Dae Kim lent his voice to the animated series "The Legend of Korra" and was cast in the new version of "Hawaii Five-O" in the role of Chin Ho Kelly (seen in this photo). That series began in 2010 and went into its sixth season in 2015.
Elizabeth Mitchell played Juliet Burke, a fertility doctor who was recruited by Richard Alpert. She tried to solve the fertility problems on the island and eventually aligned herself with the Oceanic survivors.
After her time on the island, Elizabeth Mitchell continued to work in television. She played Erica Evans on "V," Rachel Matheson on "Revolution," Ingrid/Snow Queen on "Once Upon a Time" and most recently, she was seen as Carine Strand on "Crossing Lines." In this 2015 photo, she posed at a photocall for the show in Cannes, France. Elizabeth is currently filming "The Purge 3." In 2013, she and husband Chris Soldevilla — with whom she shares son C.J. — divorced after nine years of marriage.
There is no "Lost" without Jack! Matthew Fox was Jack Shepherd, a spinal surgeon who saved the passengers of Oceanic Flight 815. He had a complicated relationship with Kate Austen and quickly became a fan favorite.
Matthew Fox went on to star in films after his role as Jack on "Lost" wound down. He played Alex Cross in 2012's "Picasso," Patrick in "Extinction" and most recently, Brooder in "Bone Tomahawk." In this 2015 photo, he attended a photocall for "Extinction" in Madrid. After the "Lost" finale, Matthew ran into some trouble with the law: He got a DUI in 2012 and was accused of punching a female bus driver in the chest and pelvic area in 2011. In October 2012, Matthew denied the abuse allegations, telling Ellen DeGeneres he's "never hit a woman in my life," but did admit to drinking and driving.
British actor Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje starred as Mr. Eko, a Nigerian former druglord-turned-priest who survived in the tail section of Oceanic Flight 815. Mr. Eko ended up killing two people on the island and took an oath of silence for 40 days. He also carried a stick with him that had Bible verses carved into it.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje went on to have a successful acting career after "Lost" wound down. His recent resume includes his role as Frank Majors in the TV show "American Odyssey" and Malko in "Game of Thrones." As for films, he plays Virgil Brooks in "Trumbo" and Dave Duerson in "Concussion." He will also play Waylon Jones/Killer Croc in "Suicide Squad" in 2016.
Henry Ian Cusick played Desmond Hume, a former monk and member of the Royal Scots Regiment. Desmond has a long lost love, Penelope Widmore. After being shipwrecked on the island, he must push a button every 108 minutes in an underground bunker — but he messed up and missed it one time: the day Oceanic Flight 815 crashed on the island.
Since "Lost," Henry Ian Cusick has continued acting on television. Most recently, he starred as Marcus Kane on "The 100" and Stephen Finch on "Scandal." He's currently filming the TV movie "Rush Hour."
