In a world of nonstop reboots, it takes a really special series to catch our attention. Thankfully, The CW was smart enough to bring back one of the most salacious, seductive and entertaining shows of the last century. That's right, people, "Dynasty" — the 1981 drama about two mega-rich rival families, the Carringtons and the Colbys — is returning to the small screen with an entirely new cast (and there's an exciting rumor that original star Joan Collins might be reprising her role as Alexis Carrington Colby in the reboot). To celebrate its premiere on Oct. 11, 2017, Wonderwall.com is taking a look at the new stars of this sexy second-time-around drama. Keep reading for all the details on who's who…

Grant Show stars as oil tycoon Blake Carrington on 2017's "Dynasty." John Forsythe famously played the wealthy Carrington patriarch from 1981 to 1989 on the original series. We're excited to see how Grant pays homage to John's legacy while still making the character his own.

Handsome Grant Show's first role on the small screen was in the 1985 daytime drama "Ryan's Hope," but you probably recognize him as biker bad boy Jake from both "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Melrose Place." Since "Melrose" ended in 1997, Grant's been in a slew of TV movies like "The Price of Heaven," "Encrypt" and both "Natalee Holloway" and "Justice for Natalee Holloway." He's also appeared on numerous TV shows like "Six Feet Under," "Private Practice" and "Devious Maids" (which was cancelled in 2016). Aside from his busy acting career, Grant has taken on the role of proud papa: His wife, actress Katherine LaNasa, gave birth to daughter Eloise in 2014.

Nathalie Kelley stars as Cristal Flores on the new "Dynasty." On the original series, Linda Evans played Krystle Carrington (one of our favorite characters), making us wonder if this new Cristal is an updated version of the original or someone totally different.

Actress Nathalie Kelley, who got her start in Hollywood in 2006 in "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift," was born in Peru and has a beautiful mix of Peruvian and Argentinian heritages. She spent time in Australia as a child, which is how she developed her Aussie accent. Over the last decade, she's had regular roles on shows like "Body of Proof," "UnREAL" and "The Vampire Diaries." Nathalie's been dating her former "Vampire Diaries" co-star Zach Roerig since 2016.

James Mackay stars as Steven Carrington, Blake Carrington's gay son, on the new "Dynasty." The role was first played by Al Corley, who left the original "Dynasty" in 1982. From 1982 to 1988, Jack Coleman took over the part. It will be interesting to see how James breathes fresh life into the character on the reboot.

You've probably seen Australian actor James Mackay on the big screen in several big-budget box office hits like "The Dressmaker," "Hacksaw Ridge," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" and "Battle of the Sexes." In addition to his film roles, James had parts on several TV shows like "The Tomorrow People" and "The Straits." What's unique about this rising star is that he's also a composer (he did the musical score for the short film he also starred in, "Manny Gets Censored," in 2014). In between takes, James is also a passionate advocate for gun control who uses his Twitter feed to voice his hope for stricter gun legislation in the wake of the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 people and injured more than 500.

Rafael de la Fuente stars as Sam "Sammy Jo" Flores on the new "Dynasty." Interestingly, the original Sammy Jo was a female character played by Heather Locklear from 1981 to 1989. That Sammy Jo was Blake Carrington and wife Krystle's niece. The new Sammy Jo is a gay male relative of Cristal's who has a connection to Steven Carrington.

Venezuelan hottie Rafael de la Fuente got his first TV role on the 2009 Mexican drama "Falling Angel," which led to his first recurring role on the hit Nickelodeon Latin America family series "Grachi" from 2011 to 2013. While the part helped build his career, U.S. fans didn't truly begin to take notice of this handsome Latino star until 2015 when he was cast on the FOX drama "Empire" as Jamal's on-again, off-again boyfriend and lover, Michael. The role was particularly important to Rafael, who understood how empowering it was for fans to see a character who was both a minority and openly gay. Since leaving "Empire," Rafael has appeared on "American Horror Story" and recently wrapped the Spanish-language crime comedy "¡He matado a mi marido!" ("I Killed My Husband!") all while preparing for his exciting new role on "Dynasty."

Elizabeth Gillies stars as Fallon Carrington on the new "Dynasty." On the original series, actresses Pamela Sue Martin and, later, Emma Samms played Fallon, Blake Carrington's spoiled daughter from his first marriage.

Not only is Elizabeth Gillies an amazing actress, but she's also a singer and songwriter who's performed with fellow double threats Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice and sang many of the soundtrack songs from the Nickelodeon family series "Victorious," on which she also had a regular role. Elizabeth has appeared on numerous small-screen hits like "Winx Club: Enchantix," "Winx Club: Beyond Believix," "iCarly" and "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" (where she once again contributed to the soundtrack). In addition to her new role on "Dynasty," Elizabeth has a part in the 2018 big-screen comedy "Arizona."

Robert Christopher Riley stars as Michael Culhane on the new "Dynasty." In the original series, actor Wayne Northrop played Michael, although he only appeared in 34 of 217 episodes. We're curious to see how this character, who was Blake Carrington's chauffeur, takes a more prominent role in the reboot.

He might be so hot it hurts, but Brooklyn-born Robert Christopher Riley (also known as Rob Riley) is more than a perfectly chiseled jawline and sexy smile. His career in Hollywood started in 2006 with a minor role on "The Trade Off." From there, Rob picked up small parts on series like "Medium," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "Nurse Jackie." In 2008, he appeared in his first Broadway show, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," followed by "Lombardi" in 2011. In 2012, he picked up a minor role in his first major motion picture, "The Bourne Legacy," in which he played agent Outcome-6. From there, Rob gained a regular role on the series "Hit the Floor" as hunky basketball star Terrence Wall. He left that show in 2016 and briefly starred on "Underground" before landing a role on "Dynasty." Along with his love for acting, Rob is also passionate about social justice and has been a vocal supporter of the NFL athletes who've chosen to take a knee to protest inequality and police brutality against African Americans, saying, "Our goal is to bring people together and work with our country to achieve its potential for truly equal rights and justice for all."

Alan Dale stars as Joseph Anders on the new "Dynasty." From 1981 to 1983, Lee Bergere played Joseph, the head servant in the Carrington household, on the original series. Joseph went mad and eventually committed suicide, making us wonder how the character will be reintroduced.

If you were a fan of the hit primetime drama "Lost," chances are you remember New Zealand-born Alan Dale as the wealthy, scheming helper of the island, Charles Widmore. Alan's been acting since the late '70s and has a portfolio of performances that include spots on "ER," "The X-Files," "24," "The O.C." and "NCIS" (where he spent 13 years as Tom Morrow). Alan's even had a regular role over the last six years as King George on the hit fantasy series "Once Upon a Time." Besides his newest role on "Dynasty," Alan is a husband and father of four who resides in Manhattan Beach, California.

Sam Adegoke stars as Jeff Colby on the new "Dynasty" on The CW. From 1981 to 1989, actor John James played the role of Jeff — the handsome young nephew of the Carrington family's rivals, the Colbys (who also happened to be their neighbors).

If you're wondering how you know Nigeria-born Sam Adegoke, it's likely you saw him on "Murder in the First" as Billy James. Or maybe it was his role as Chris Walker on the hit series "Switched at Birth." Still not sure? Then maybe you caught a glimpse of Sam's phenomenal talent in the biographical TV movie "Michael Jackson: Searching for Neverland" in which he played Javon Beard. Although Sam's only been in Hollywood since 2014, we're going to be seeing a lot more of this handsome star. Lucky for us, that includes his upcoming role on "Dynasty."

We can't leave out Wakeema Hollis (center, between Elizabeth Gillies and Sam Adegoke), who plays Monique Colby on the new "Dynasty" on The CW. We aren't certain, but we think Monique is based on the old character Monica Colby, played by Tracy Scoggins from 1985 until the original show's end in 1989. Monica was the smart and beautiful fraternal twin daughter of Sable Colby, the matriarch of the Colby clan.

Although beautiful Wakeema Hollis doesn't have a long history in Hollywood, she's a rising talent with unstoppable potential. Her first on-screen role was in 2014 on the HBO series "Girls," which was followed by appearances on shows like "The Mysteries of Laura" and "The Affair." In 2017, Wakeema landed her first recurring role on the series "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel," which helped her get her foot in the door for her upcoming portrayal of Monique Colby on "Dynasty."
