Laura Prepon has expanded her resume — and her family — since 2013. Uzo Aduba stars as Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren, an inmate who suffers from mental health issues, on "Orange Is the New Black."
Uzo Aduba has transitioned from Hollywood newcomer to Emmy- and SAG Award-winning actress. For her performance as Crazy Eyes on the show, the Boston native won Emmys for best guest actress in a comedy series in 2014 and best supporting actress in a drama series in 2015 — making her one of only two actors to win an Emmy in both comedy and drama categories for the same role. She also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for her performance as Crazy Eyes. In addition to "OITNB," Uzo has appeared in "Candy Jar," "Beats," "The Wiz Live," "Steven Universe" and "Showing Roots" in recent years. She's set to appear in the FX miniseries "Mrs. America" in 2020.
Kate Mulgrew stars as Galina "Red" Reznikov, a Russian inmate and prison leader, on "Orange Is the New Black."
Kate Mulgrew has continued to appear in other projects while also starring on "Orange Is the New Black." The mother of three has landed guest roles on "American Dad," "I Live with Models," "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Stretch Armstrong and the Flex Fighters" and "Mr. Mercedes." She also narrated the 2014 documentary "The Principle." Kate divorced her longtime husband, Tim Hagan, in 2014 — a decision she later said she regretted.

Laverne Cox stars as Sophia Burset, a transgender inmate who also works as the prison's hairstylist, on "Orange Is the New Black."
Laverne Cox's career as an actress and passion as an activist has blossomed since since 2013. The Alabama native has appeared on TV's "Doubt," "The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let's Do the Time Warp Again" and "The Mindy Project" as well as in a few movies. In addition to acting, Laverne has also made history several times over. She's the first openly trans person to be nominated for an Emmy in an acting category (she has three noms total), the first openly trans woman to win a Daytime Emmy (for her documentary "The T Word"), the first transgender person to play a trans series regular on broadcast TV, the first openly trans person to appear on the cover of Time and Cosmopolitan magazines, and the first openly trans person to have a wax figure of herself at Madame Tussauds (all accomplishments she achieved over the past few years)! Jessica Pimentel has continued to build not only her acting career but her music career. The Brooklyn native has appeared on TV shows like "Person of Interest" and in films like "The Grief of Others" and "The Bread Factory." Jessica — a classically trained violinist — is also a vocalist in the New York-based metal band Alekhine's Gun and the Mexican metal band Brujeria. She's been dating Meshuggah drummer Tomas Haake since 2013.
