Summer is winding down, and you know what that means — the return of fall television! To celebrate the return of our favorite shows and the debut of some new ones, we're sharing our favorite TV show cliques. For more than a decade, people all over the world have been trying to figure out if they're a Carrie, a Samantha, a Charlotte or a Miranda from "Sex and the City." But even better than being like one of the iconic characters would be being a member of their group. Who wouldn't want to drink a cosmo at a New York City bar on the Upper East Side while talking about her latest dating drama? That's the real American dream. Let's be real: We'd rather not have to deal with the whole blackmail thing or, you know, people getting murdered all over town, but it would still be worth it if it meant being a part of the "Pretty Little Liars" squad. These ladies are always there for each other and will literally kill a man to protect one another. When Hanna, Emily, Aria and Spencer aren't worrying about the next text they'll get from A, they actually get to have fun. Plus we'd give our left arm to be able to raid Hanna's closet.
Sometimes the ladies of "Girls" are absolute garbage, but at least they're upfront about it. Shoshanna, Jessa, Hannah and Marnie are living their best millennial lives in New York City and we are living vicariously through them. We would love to meet up with the girls for a warehouse party in Bushwick or an open-mic night to watch Marnie sing. If we have to be in our 20s and broke, we want to do it with these girls.

When we're not mourning the loss of this underrated sitcom, we're wishing we could join their friend group. Brad, Jane, Max, Penny, Alex and Dave are ah-mazing. They're always having fun and getting involved in some wacky shenanigans. That's what "Happy Endings" is all about! The worst thing that happens to this crew is having a dream — or maybe you'd consider it a nightmare — that they're sleeping with Dave.
There's always cheesecake, so is there really any downside to hanging with these "Golden Girls"? It really doesn't matter what age we are, because spending time with Sophia, Blanche, Dorothy and Rose would be a hoot. They have tons of fun stories and could pass along years of wisdom. Plus with this group, we'd never have to cancel plans again, because they're either staying in or playing bingo right down the street. Wow, we can't wait to be retired!
It wouldn't be a list of our favorite cliques from television without the group from "Friends." Ross, Monica, Rachel, Chandler, Joey and Phoebe might be the best group around. We could build a fort with Joey, go to the museum with Ross, eat one of Monica's delicious homemade meals, go shopping with Rachel, write a song with Phoebe and be the butt of one of Chandler's jokes.
There probably isn't any more room in the "New Girl" loft for us, but honestly, we'll sleep on the couch if we have to. We've spent our time trying to learn the rules of True American, so we'd fit right in.
Yeah, so we don't bring a lot of skills to vampire-hunting, but we'd bring our wit and charm to the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" group. Xander, Rupert, Buffy, Cordelia and Willow — AKA the Scooby Gang — go through some rough times, but they always end up sticking with each other. Plus we'd probably get into great shape kicking some major vampire butt.
Nothing says nostalgia to us like "TGIF" and "Boy Meets World." We watched Shawn, Topanga, Cory and Eric grow up right in front of our eyes. We basically felt like we were already part of the friend group, so why not make it official? And we'd finally get to run our fingers through Shawn's beautiful, silky hair.
