Denzel Washington was already a Hollywood legend before "Remember the Titans," but the film was a great reminder of just how good he is. The eight-time Oscar nominee (and two-time winner) followed up the football flick with 2001's "Training Day," which earned him his second Academy Award and first for best actor. In 2002, he starred in "Antwone Fisher," which also marked his directorial debut. Denzel continued to star in hits throughout the '00s including 2004's "Man on Fire," 2007's "American Gangster" and 2009's "The Taking of Pelham 123." The third film he directed, 2016's "Fences," which he also produced and starred in, earned him two Oscar nominations (best actor and best picture). He received the esteemed Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes in 2016. He hasn't been on the big screen since 2018, when he starred in "The Equalizer 2," the sequel to his 2014 film "The Equalizer." He's been happily married to Pauletta Pearson since 1983. They share four kids who are all in the film industry either as actors or behind the scenes: John David, Katia and twins Olivia and Malcolm.

After "Remember the Titans," Will Patton continued to have a successful film career, appearing in films like "The Mothman Prophecies" in 2002, "The Punisher" in 2004 and "A Mighty Heart" in 2007. He starred on CBS's "The Agency" from 2001 until 2003, CBS's "Numbers" from 2006 until 2007 and TNT's "Falling Skies" from 2011 until 2015. More recently, in 2020 he landed a role on the Paramount Network's show "Yellowstone" as Garrett. The actor has kept his private life private over the years.

Donald Faison's next move after "Remember the Titans" was one of the roles he's best known for — Dr. Christopher Turk on "Scrubs"! The actor starred on the TV comedy from 2001 until 2010 and since then has continued to be a television powerhouse. He's lent his voice to "Robot Chicken" from 2005 until 2020, appeared on "The Exes" from 2011 until 2015 and more recently starred on ABC's "Emergence." He's been happily married to CaCee Cobb since 2012. They share son Rocco and daughter Wilder. He also has four other children — son Sean, twins Dade and Kaya and son Kobe — from previous relationships.
Kip Pardue played quarterback Ronnie "Sunshine" Bass."
Kip Pardue continued to act after "Remember the Titans" was released, picking up roles in films like 2002's "The Rules of Attraction" and 2003's "Thirteen" and "Devil's Pond." He had a recurring role on "ER" in 2006, did two episodes of "Mad Men" in 2013 and had a role as FBI Agent Volcheck on "Ray Donovan" in 2014. More recently, he starred on "Runaways" from 2017 until 2018 and appeared on episodes of "Hawaii Five-0" and "Once Upon a Time." Not much is known about his personal life, but in 2018, SAG-AFTRA fined him $6,000 after finding him guilty of misconduct for sexually harassing a co-star on the set of a pilot.
Craig Kirkwood starred as the quarterback Jerry "Rev" Harris.
From movie star to public defender! Craig Kirkwood (seen here in 2000) left the acting world in the mid-aughts, instead opting to pursue a career in law. He attended Loyola Law School and has since become a criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles. In 2005, he married Katie Kimberling, with whom he shares one daughter, but the couple had a contentious split in 2017.

Wood Harris has had a successful career since 2000. He's perhaps best known for his role as Avon Barksdale on HBO's "The Wire," on which he starred from 2002 to 2008. He also had roles in flicks like 2015's "Ant-Man" and "Creed," 2017's "Blade Runner 2049" and 2018's "Creed II." More recently, he been starred as Damon Cross on FOX's "Empire." The actor has been married to Rebekah Harris since 2001; they have two kids. He also reportedly has a child who was born outside his marriage in 2017.

"Remember the Titans" really kickstarted Ryan Hurst's career, leading to roles in films like "We Were Soldiers" in 2002 and "The Ladykillers" in 2004 plus work on TV. Among his big roles on the small screen? He played Michael Benoit on "Medium," Opie Winston on "Sons of Anarchy" and Beta on "The Walking Dead." He's been married to Molly Cookson since 2005. Together, they run a production company called Fast Shoes.

Though Ryan Gosling had been a child actor, "Remember the Titans" really launched his career as an adult. From there he landed a starring role in 2001's "The Believer," which led to more films like 2002's "Murder by Numbers" and 2003's "The United States of Leland." Next he starred in the role that turned him into a bona fide Hollywood heartthrob — 2004's "The Notebook." He had a streak of critically acclaimed films with 2007's "Half Nelson" (which earned him a best actor Academy Award nomination) and "Lars and the Real Girl" (which earned him a best actor Golden Globe nod) and 2010's "Blue Valentine" (which earned him another best actor Globe nom). He then delivered another commercial hit with 2011's "Crazy, Stupid, Love" (for which he also earned a best actor Globe nomination). Blue Stanton in "Remember the Titans" was Earl Poitier's very first role. From there, he went on to earn parts on television shows like "Roswell," "Burn Notice" and "Army Wives." Not much is known about his personal life, and he's largely been out of the public eye since the '00s. (He's seen here in 2004). His most recent credit is for a 2017 episode of "Shots Fired," on which he played Silas.

He also appeared on the TV Land show "Jennifer Falls" in 2014 and had a recurring role on Ashton Kutcher's "The Ranch." More recently, he's had roles on shows like Netflix's "Santa Clarita Diet" and NBC's "Good Girls." Off-screen, he's married to Brandy Lewis, the sister of actress Juliette Lewis.
