Danica Patrick's romance with Aaron Rodgers has hit a dead end — the couple is "no longer together," the driver's rep told E! News.
There'd recently been rumors that they'd called it quits.
The duo began dating more than two years ago, but multiple media outlets pointed out in mid-July that the former race car driver no longer follows the Green Bay Packers quarterback on Instagram. Leading up to the unfollow, they'd been noticeably absent from each other's social media activity — the last time she appeared on his feed was in late March, while he last appeared on her Instagram in early April.
Danica was also MIA during a recent charity golf event in which Aaron participated.
Aaron and Danica were fresh out of other high-profile romances when they got together in early 2018. He dated actress Olivia Munn for three years before they split in 2017; Danica dated professional racer Ricky Stenhouse Jr.
In 2018, Aaron opened up about Danica during an interview with Artful Living.
"We're just two people who enjoy being around each other and love each other," he said. "We're really into each other. So there are going to be posts with each other because we enjoy each other's company a lot. We're really attracted to each other."
Earlier this year, Aaron's teammates were pressuring him to propose. A few months earlier, Danica spoke to Jenny McCarthy about the possibility of marrying the future NFL Hall of Famer.
"You know what, that's one of those things, you can't be attached to something going a certain way because if you really want something to happen, there's that equal energy of being afraid that it's not going to happen," she explained. "So you just have to let it go and be like, 'Well, am I having fun today?' Yup.' Then life's good.'"
She then joked, "I'll probably get proposed to tomorrow now."
