Arnold Schwarzenegger took several not-so-veiled shots at President Trump and his supporters on Veterans Day while noticing a sparse crowd at a veterans' cemetery in Los Angeles.
In one video, the "Terminator" star said he goes to the Los Angeles National Cemetery every year on Veterans Day to pay respect to the fallen.
"Without them, we wouldn't be such a fantastic, great nation," he said. "There's a lot of people that claim that they are responsible for making it the greatest nation, like for instance politicians, but that's a bunch of nonsense."
While speaking directly of service members, he said, "You all are the greatest. You are the actual heroes. The men and the women that sacrificed their lives, they are the true action heroes."
He also added, "This immigrant owes everything to you."
Later, after returning home, the former California Governor was perturbed by the lack of a crowd at the cemetery, where nearly 100,000 veterans are buried.
"There were only about 20 people walking around — about 20 people for 100,000 veterans," he said. "But then 20,000 or so will go do a political rally and someone promised them to make America great. The fact of the matter is those veterans are the ones that made America great, no one else."
Arnold facetiously called out the "20,000 [who are] so patriotic" to show their respects next year when he goes to the cemetery.
"I hope I see you there," he said. "I think it's a discussion we should have — the definition of patriotism. Let's talk about it."
Many in Arnold's comments section noted that Veterans Day is technically dedicated to current and living vets, whereas Memorial Day is more about the fallen. Others, as expected, began arguing about politics in the comments section.
