Blake Shelton is NOT joining the next season of "Dancing With The Stars," nor is Gwen Stefani forbidding him from taking part in the show, despite a webloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We're told it's "false."
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, Cheryl Burke is campaigning to get Shelton onto the next season of "Dancing With The Stars," but Stefani is forbidding the country singer from joining the dance competition series. Without any evidence or legitimate sources, the often disproven site claims, "Gwen is obsessed with her A-list status in the celebrity world."
The webloid further contends, "She doesn't want to see her boyfriend downgraded by participating on a reality television show."
But Gossip Cop investigated, and a source close to Shelton assures us the report is completely "false." The singer is not joining "Dancing With The Stars," and Stefani is therefore not forbidding him from taking part in the show. It's yet another fake news story fabricated by CDL.
Of course, this isn't the first time Gossip Cop has busted the notoriously unreliable outlet for creating inaccurate stories about the couple. In December, we called out the site for falsely alleging Shelton and Stefani were fighting over marriage and having a baby. And shortly before that tall-tale, we corrected the bad blog for wrongly claiming Shelton and Miranda Lambert were reuniting. Much like those articles, this latest is equally untrue.
