Hurricane Irma couldn't care less if you're an A-list celebrity, a rock star or even the President of the United States. As the most powerful storm ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean moves its way toward the United States, a slew of celebrities could see their luxury homes and properties is shambles. Johnny Depp, for instance, owns a private island in the Bahamas, and it's directly in Irma's path. His 45-acre private island, Little Hall's Pond Cay, could be unrecognizable when all is said and done. The actor bought the island in 2004. Eddie Murphy owns a small private island in the Bahamas called Rooster Cay. He reportedly paid $15 million for the island in 2007.
Oprah Winfrey owns a vacation home in Jumby Bay, Antigua, which overlooks the Caribbean Sea.
Bruce Willis owns a villa in Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos.
Perhaps the most famous property in Hurricane Irma's path is Necker Island, which Richard Branson owns. The mogul is reportedly on the 74-acre property — which is part of the British Virgin Islands — and is planning to ride out the storm there.
Christie Brinkley owns a home nicknamed "Lucky House" in Parrot Bay on the Turks and Caicos Islands — it's just down the beach from Bruce Willis' property. In 2014, she put the 3,400-square-foot villa on the market for $9 million.
Even President Donald Trump can't steer clear of Hurricane Irma. He owns a five-acre, 11-bedroom mansion on the French island St. Martin. The property was recently put on the market for $16.9 million.
Mick Jagger's home on the private West Indies island Mustique — which is called Stargroves and is actually available for luxury vacations — doesn't appear to be directly in Irma's path but is likely to be affected by the outer bands of the storm. The Rolling Stones rocker also owns Pelican Beach, a smaller property next door to Stargroves.
David Copperfield owns Musha Cay, an island about 85 miles southeast of Nassau in the Bahamas. He reportedly paid $50 million for the property in 2006.
Keith Richards owns a property in Parrot Cay in Turks and Caicos.
