Over the past week, reports have linked Celine Dion with her backup dancer, Pepe Munoz, but it appears that the relationship is strictly platonic.
TMZ is reporting that Celine is not seeing the dancer in a romantic sense, despite the two being seen holding hands in Paris recently.
"They simply share common interests, but are only close pals," TMZ reported.
Celine has been in Europe for over a month for her tour and Pepe has been by her side fairly consistently.
Recently, paparazzi caught them walking around Paris with their arms linked. They've also been seen leaving the same hotel at the same time.
"She's never been so happy," one European story said last week, while describing it as a "new romance."
Pepe has previously danced in Cirque Du Soleil's "Zumanity" in Las Vegas and in the musical "Cats." He's also a budding fashion illustrator, which TMZ says is why he's been with her, including at a couture fashion show.
In her new spread in Vogue, Pepe reveals how Celine discovered his fashion sense.
"She didn't even know I drew," he said, explaining that one of her assistants introduced her to his Instagram. "She started crying."
Celine hasn't publicly dated anyone since the January 2016 death of her husband and manager Rene Angelil.
Last year, during an interview with CBS, Celine was asked if she'd like to find love again and she replied, "not now."
"I love. I love. I love him," she said. "I'm still in love with him. And I have the love of my children. I have the love of my fans. I love the people that I work with. So my life is not empty of love. But there's a song from Sia, 'I go to sleep and imagine that you're there with me.' And I go to bed with him. And I come on stage with him. And so I'm still married to him."
