The "Real Housewives of Orange County" is continuing to roll its cameras, even after Shannon Beador, one of the show's main stars, tested positive for COVID-19.
TMZ reports that the women on the Bravo staple, excluding Shannon, don't feel like they're in danger of getting sick, so the show goes on.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" resumed filming its latest season just a few weeks ago. Shortly after filming began, many of the women on the show took a cast trip to Lake Arrowhead, but TMZ reports Shannon wasn't part of the vacation. Because the cast and crew didn't come into contact with Shannon, show executives feel it's safe to continue.
Still, Bravo is doing temperature checks, avoiding filming in crowds and having crew members wear masks on set, TMZ reports.
On July 24, Shannon announced that she and her three teenage daughters all tested positive for COVID-19.
"This photo was taken pre-pandemic. Today, we are Covid positive times 4," she wrote alongside a family photo. "The girls and I are blessed to be quarantining in the same home (but isolating in separate rooms). A huge thank you to all of the medical personnel that have been patiently guiding us through this illness. Sending prayers to all of those affected."
While quarantining at home and keeping her distance from the cast and crew, Shannon is doing her part to stay involved — she's reportedly filming from her phone.
Bravo has said it's doing everything within its power to keep everyone safe.
"'The Real Housewives of Orange County' recently resumed production with a comprehensive health and safety plan," a Bravo rep said in a statement. "The plan was developed in accordance with CDC guidance, all state and local orders, as well as NBCUniversal's own safety guidelines. The health and safety of the cast and crew is the priority of Bravo for all of its shows."
