Two weeks ago, Scott Disick was spotted on a date with 19-year-old Amelia Gray Hamlin. Since then, the romance has continued and the new couple was even photographed last week looking loved up on the beach.
While many have bristled at the coupling, particularly given their 18-year age gap, Kourtney Kardashian isn't one of them. According to TMZ, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star likes when Scott, 37, is dating someone because he's most grounded that way.
"She actually thinks [the relationship] is good for him and their kids," the website says.
Kourtney's main concern is that the romance doesn't affect Scott's parenting, and it's not, the report says. In fact, Scott is supposedly more responsible as a parent when he's dating someone, even if he's dating a teenager who is about eight years older than Scott and Kourtney's oldest child, Mason, who turns 11 next month.
"Kourtney and Scott are on the best terms they've been on in a long time, and she sees no need to get involved in his relationships — as long as he's happy, and there's no negative effect on their children," TMZ said.
Scott and Amelia, the daughter of Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, were first linked following an Italian dinner in Los Angeles. Over the years, the father of three has shown that age doesn't exactly matter when it comes to his love life. Since his years-long romance with Kourtney Kardashian, Scott has been linked to actress Bella Thorne, 23, model Bella Banos, 24, and model Megan Blake Irwin, 28. He also dated 22-year-old Sofia Richie for nearly three years.
The Kardashians said Scott was a great parent during the course of his relationship with Sofia, and they see nothing changing as he begins dating Amelia.
