Get caught up on the biggest celebrity news stories of April 2018 that you might have missed, starting with this sad split… Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan separated after nine years of marriage. The couple announced their shocking news on Instagram on April 2 in a joint statement. "We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple. We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now," the statement read. "There are no secrets nor salacious events at the root of our decision — just two best-friends realizing it's time to take some space and help each other live the most joyous, fulfilled lives as possible." A source told Page Six that they were spending a lot of time apart because of work and that it put too much strain on the marriage.

The newborn weighed in at 8 pounds, 7 ounces. William was at Kate's side for the birth. A new baby and a cheating scandal
How do you really sum up Khloe Kardashian's month? It was a roller coaster. First, on April 10, videos surfaced showing her boyfriend and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson, allegedly cheating on her with several women. The first video, which was filmed on April 7, shows a woman kissing the NBA star at a New York club. That same woman was later seen going to his hotel with him and leaving with an overnight bag. Then another video surfaced, this one showing Tristan making out with one woman. Another woman in that same video was sexual, as well. That video was recorded on Oct. 7, 2017, at a hookah lounge outside Washington D.C. when Khloe was three months pregnant. Now, some good news… On April 12, Khloe gave birth to daughter True Thompson in Cleveland. Family members and Tristan were there. As all this was happening, there were reports indicating that Khloe had basically forgiven Tristan, blaming "groupies." However, other reports surfaced indicating that she wasn't letting him out of the doghouse and that the romance was "hanging by a thread."

Pregnant!
Last March, Kate Hudson hinted that she would like to have a more kids, specifically a girl. Turns out she knew something we didn't. On April 6, she revealed that she was pregnant and expecting a daughter with boyfriend Danny Fujikawa. "SURPRISE!!! If you've wondered why I've been so absent on my social channels it's because I have never been more sick! It was the most sick first trimester of all my children," she wrote alongside a gender reveal video she shared on Instagram. "If you've seen me out and about smiling and pretending like everything is amazing…I was lying! BUT! I have broken through on the other end of that and rediscovering the joys of insta/snap. We have been trying to keep this pregnancy under the radar for as long as possible but I'm a poppin now! And it's too darn challenging to hide, and frankly hiding is more exhausting than just coming out with it! My kids, Danny, myself and the entire family are crazy excited! A little girl on the way." Kate also has two boys from previous relationships.
Shocking split
After six years together — and less than a month before they were set to marry — John Cena and Nikki Bella pulled the plug on their relationship. "After much contemplation and six years of being together Nikki Bella and John Cena announced today their decision to separate as a couple," a rep for the pair said in a statement on April 15. "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives." There are conflicting reports about who actually ended things, but multiple outlets said the wrestling stars continued to fight over children. "John never really wanted to get married in the first place but one of the biggest points of contention or disagreements they had through their relationship was that Nikki wanted to have kids and start a family and John didn't. They were not on the same page in that respect," a source told E! News. "Things have been brewing for a while between them. As John got more and more popular things changed and he got the Hollywood bug. He got more opportunities and he just isn't the same person now that he promised Nikki he'd be for her."
Arrested
T.J. Miller was arrested in New York City by federal agents on April 9 for allegedly reporting a false bomb threat while aboard an Amtrak train from Washington D.C. to New York on March 18, which he apparently did to get back at a woman he was arguing with. Federal documents obtained by TMZ said that the former "Silicon Valley" star claimed a woman with brown hair and a scarf kept checking her bag and seemed to want to get off the train and leave her bag behind. He said she "has a bomb in her bag." Authorities believe he simply had a grudge against the woman after they got into a verbal argument. In reporting the false threat, T.J. allegedly gave cops the wrong train number and as a result, a different train was stopped in Connecticut and evacuated and searched, which caused huge delays and panic. Of course, T.J. wasn't even on that train, as he was headed to New York. The documents, TMZ reported, indicate that T.J.'s false claim caused 926 man-hours of delays and forced the deployment of bomb squads in two states.
Medical diagnosis
Mariah Carey has bipolar disorder. Mimi was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2001, she revealed while opening up publicly about her struggles for the first time with People magazine. "Until recently I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me. It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply couldn't do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love — writing songs and making music," she said in a story published on April 11. She is now in therapy and taking medication for bipolar II disorder, she told the mag. "I'm just in a really good place right now, where I'm comfortable discussing my struggles with bipolar II disorder. I'm hopeful we can get to a place where the stigma is lifted from people going through anything alone. It can be incredibly isolating. It does not have to define you and I refuse to allow it to define me or control me."
Divorcing
Kendra Wilkinson put an end to her marriage on April 6, confirming speculation that she and Hank Baskett were splitting. The former Playboy model filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She listed their separation date as Jan. 1. The same day, she shared a photo of herself and Hank on Instagram, writing, "Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I'm beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that's why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile. Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it's true love well in this case it's me. I want to see happy Hank again… i miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. U will prob see us together a lot but it's because there's no hate. Love wins in this case it's just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed." The pair — who are reportedly still living under the same roof — have been spotted together multiple times at their kids' sporting events since the filing.
It's over
April 6 was D-day for Brooke Burke and David Charvet. The former "Dancing With the Stars" host filed for divorce from her husband of seven years that day. On April 9, Brooke opened up about the split in a Modern Mom blog post. "We have tried to keep our separation private for some time out of respect for our children and family. Although I believe this is a positive change, I am deeply saddened because I loved being married," she wrote. "It took me a long time to differentiate between giving up and letting go, and even longer to recognize when it was time to do so. We are still a family full of love, simply redefining our dynamics. I believe this is a necessary decision for my entire family unit. There was nothing sensational that caused this divorce and nothing scandalous will surface, please believe that we are just finding new ways to remain a loving family."

Rachel McAdams was able to keep her pregnancy secret for months, and it seems that she did the same thing when it came to the actual birth of her baby — until fans spotted her out with the newborn. Rachel and boyfriend Jamie Linder, a screenwriter, welcomed a child together this spring, it was reported on April 9. News of the birth was revealed when the couple was seen leaving lunch with their infant son. According to Hollywood Pipeline, which published an image of the young family, the happy parents could be heard gushing about what a "good sleeper he is" and how "he's a good baby." Congrats!
Attacked
Jaime King was very shaken up after a man jumped on her car and started attacking the vehicle, striking the windows, in Beverly Hills on April 4. Her 4-year-old son, James Knight, was also in the car and he was hit by glass. The Beverly Hills Police Department issued a press release stating that the man, who is believed to be homeless, was arrested. "[James] was secured in a child car seat positioned in the back seat of the vehicle as the suspect jumped on the rear windshield causing glass to shatter and strike the child," the police statement said. "In an effort to protect the child, the female driver exited the vehicle and confronted the suspect at which time he threw a can at her, striking her arm." Jaime released a statement on April 5 thanking fans for their support. "The attack was incredibly violent, and my 4 year old son was obviously the target of the individual's brutal attack, which is terrifying," she said. Jaime also lambasted the paparazzi, claiming they chose to document the attack instead of helping, and she later told TMZ that her son is suffering from PTSD. TMZ reported that the man is now facing misdemeanor charges including cruelty to a child by endangering his or her health and one felony count for vandalism.
Dunzo
Ruby Rose and her girlfriend, Veronicas rocker Jess Origliasso, are dunzo after two years of dating. There had been speculation for months that the two had split, as Jess unfollowed Ruby on social media in December 2017. Ruby also deleted all her Instagram photos of them together. "I've shared the past two years learning and sharing my life with an amazing human being. An experience for which I am very blessed. Breakups are always incredibly hard on the people involved but I can only be grateful for the experiences we shared," Ruby wrote on April 1 on Twitter. "It's with a heavy heart to share that Jess and I parted ways a few months ago. We still love each other very much and I will always support her and be her biggest advocate. With love x." She later added, "I understand it's 'April 1st' but I would never use something so personal as an April fools joke."
