Family drama
Tommy Lee and his 22-year-old son, Brandon, have been airing each other's dirty laundry in public for a few months, but things really got ugly this week after the Motley Crue rocker claimed that he spent $130,000 for Brandon to go to rehab. Up until Tommy's public outing, nothing was known about Brandon's substance abuse issues. Brandon, however, acknowledged that what Tommy said was true, but then took a shot at his dad, insinuating that the rocker needs to go to rehab himself. "Every day that goes by I feel ever more grateful," Brandon said. "My clear mind has allowed me to do a lot with this time. So much so that I would like to offer to pay for his treatment." The rehab claims and admission were just part of the ongoing drama between these two. Tommy blasted his kids with ex Pamela Anderson — Brandon and Dylan — for not calling him on Father's Day, even branding them "a–holes." Brandon then blasted Tommy, implying that he's a deadbeat dad. He also posted an image of Tommy seemingly unconscious in a T-shirt and underwear lying on the floor. He captioned it, "Look a little sleepy there Tommy." The photo appeared to have been taken after the father and son's physical spat in March.

Psychiatric evaluation
Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital on June 17 after she allegedly attacked her parents and threatened to shoot herself. In the emergency dispatch audio, the dispatcher claims that a family member said Heather was "trying to hurt herself and is looking for a gun to shoot herself." A source close to Heather told TMZ that the actress was "agitated during the day, so her parents went over to her home." Heather then "got violent, choking her mother and hitting her father." Once authorities showed up and things calmed down, Heather was taken in for a psychiatric evaluation.

Rapper murdered in Florida
Rapper XXXTentacion (real name: Jahseh Onfroy) was murdered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 18. The controversial rapper was leaving a motorcycle dealership when a gunman approached his car and shot him. "Witnesses say they heard multiple shots fired," TMZ reported. The incident was being investigated as a possible drive-by shooting, as the gunman reportedly fled in a black Dodge Journey. XXXTentacion, 20, appeared lifeless in his car in video taken right after the shooting and witness said he had no pulse. Two days later, police arrested Dedrick Williams of Pompano Beach, Florida, and charged him with first-degree murder.
Splitsville
It's over for former "The Real Housewives of Orange County" couple Jim and Alexis Bellino. On June 21, Jim filed for divorce from his wife of 13 years, citing irreconcilable differences and noting that their date of separation was still to be determined. In his divorce filing, Jim asked for joint legal and physical custody of their three kids — son James and twins Melania and Mackenna — and said he wants Alexis to pay him spousal support.
Ill-advised interview
It's probably safe to say that Duchess Meghan's father, Thomas Markle Sr., is in the doghouse when it comes to the palace. On June 18, Thomas did a live interview with a British morning show. The royal family wasn't given any advance warning that this was happening. While speaking to Piers Morgan, Thomas spoke of his disappointment in missing the opportunity to walk Meghan down the aisle at the royal wedding in May, his paparazzi photo scandal and even private discussions he'd had with Prince Harry. Harry, according to Thomas, told him last year to "give Donald Trump a chance." Harry is also "open" to the Brexit experiment, Thomas claimed. The royals are not supposed to share their political opinions, so this is likely not sitting well with the queen. Perhaps the most ironic part of the interview, though, came when Thomas recalled conversations he had with Harry and Meghan in which they told him, "Don't talk to the press." Thomas was reportedly paid $50,000 to $60,000 for the interview.
Relapse?
Demi Lovato has apparently relapsed. On June 21, Demi dropped a new song and video for "Sober." According to the lyrics, she's broken her long sobriety run. "Momma I'm so sorry / I'm not sober anymore / And Daddy, please forgive me for the drinks spilled on the floor," she sings. "To the ones who never left me / we've been down this road before / I'm so sorry, I'm not sober anymore." Demi has been open about her struggles with cocaine and alcohol, but she's been clean for six years — and perhaps she still is and she's singing about a past time in her life. But, the lyrics do seem recent. "I'm sorry that I'm here again / I promise I'll get help / It wasn't my intention," she sings. "I'm sorry to myself."
Coming out
"The Hunger Games" actress Amandla Stenberg came out as a gay woman on June 18. "I'm grateful for how being gay has afforded me this ability to experience and understand love and sex, and therefore life, in an expansive and infinite way," she told Wonderland magazine. "My sexuality is not a byproduct of my past experiences with men, who I have loved, but rather a part of myself I was born with and love deeply." Amandla, 19, admitted that she's been overcome with emotion about her sexuality. "I was so overcome with this profound sense of relief when I realized that I'm gay — not bi, not pan, but gay — with a romantic love for women," she said. "All of the things that felt so internally contrary to my truest self were rectified as I unraveled a long web of denial and self-deprivation." She also celebrated on Instagram by writing, "OUT & PROUD."
Spinoff is on
The cast of "Roseanne" — minus Roseanne Barr — is back in their jobs. On June 21, ABC officially green light a "Roseanne" spinoff, which will debut in the fall. The working title is "The Conners." Roseanne will have no financial or creative stake in the new sitcom. ABC said, "After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before." With the exception of Roseanne, the major cast members will all return.
Baby-boy joy
Candice Swanepoel is now a mother of two. The Victoria's Secret model and her fiancé, model Hermann Nicoli, welcomed a baby boy, she announced on June 19 on Instagram. Candice shared an image of her newborn holding her finger on her Instagram Story. Candice and Hermann are already parents to Anacan, 20 months.
