Famed chef Cat Cora is seeking a restraining order against her ex-wife, claiming she wants to "destroy my life at any cost."
The "Iron Chef" star's divorce from Jennifer Cora was finalized in 2016, officially ending their 17-year relationship — during which they were married for only two years. Cat tells Page Six that since they split, Jennifer has made her life "a nightmare that I can't wake up from."
"It's cyber-stalking, mental and emotional distress and abuse," she claims.
Cat and Jennifer share four sons — Zoran, 16, Caje, 13, Thatcher, 11, and Nash, 11 — but the "My Kitchen Rules" star says her ex is "such an uncooperative co-parent."
"For instance she's taken me to court fifteen times in four years and has basically bankrupted me by having to defend myself," Cat alleges.
She also alleges that Jennifer is nasty with Nicole Ehrlich, whom the chef married in 2018.
Like Cat, Nicole is also seeking a restraining order against Jennifer.
"[Jennifer's] power and happiness come from making Cat miserable," Nicole claims, according to Page Six.
In Cat's court filing, she details other alleged incidents painting Jennifer's behavior as confrontational or harassing.
"She has never cared if I needed to be with my mom, or the kids or anything," Cat claims in her petition for a restraining order. "Her whole goal in life is for me to fail, be destroyed, not have a relationship with the kids, for everyone to know I am a BAD person. … She is desperately trying to make me seem like a bad person, bad mother, anything to hurt me."
Cat argues that police have even encouraged her to seek protection from her ex.
