Jennifer Lopez is a golden girl.
On Sept. 15, the pop star posted an image of herself relaxing on an idyllic beach overlooking the ocean. In the image, the 51-year-old superstar shows off her ageless body and unquestionable beauty in a $400 pink bikini from designer Emilio Pucci.
"Feeling golden," she captioned the photo. "Holding on to the last few moments of summer…"
Jennifer added the hashtag "Glow Check."
The stunning post comes after a bit of disappointment in J. Lo's world. Earlier in the week, it was announced that the New York Mets franchise is being sold to Steve Cohen for $2.42 billion. J. Lo and her fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, were part of a different group vying to purchase the Major League Baseball team. The power couple was reportedly willing to put up $300 million of their own money in their group's bid, which was believed to be in the $1.7 billion range.
Last month, before her investment group lost its bid, the "Jenny from the Block" singer spoke about the chance to own a professional baseball team.
"Listen, in this day and age, that would be something that would be so amazing," she told Barstool Sports' "The Corp" podcast.
No women are currently listed as principal owners of an MLB team — a fact not lost on J. Lo.
"I think in every field, especially in institutions like Major League Baseball that are so American in this moment in time, it is important for diversity and it is important for women to have positions of power that they've earned and deserve and can contribute in a way that is just as good as any man on the planet," she said. "So of course I am for it."
