He's getting so big! Ahead of Father's Day, "Full House" alum John Stamos has shared some new photos of Billy, his 2-year-old son with actress wife Caitlin McHugh.
The actor, 56, took to Instagram on June 15 to promote a line of bracelets benefiting charity and to celebrate his family and his own dad. "Fatherhood is the best thing to ever happen to me. In honor of my father and all the dads out there I'm happy we're making these 'A Father's Love' @st.amosjewelry bracelets available at @mysaintmyhero Link in Bio. Order now for delivery by Father's Day. 100% of Stamos family proceeds benefits @childhelp," John captioned the slideshow, which features two beautiful photos.
Over on My Saint My Hero's Instagram page, John shared more about Billy's namesake — his dad, Bill, a restaurateur who died in 1998. "My father was my hero – but like most heroes, when you grow up, you realize that they are mere mortals like the rest of the humans. That never happened to me," the musician-actor wrote. "My dad was always bigger than life; he was my best friend."
Back on May 1, John posted a vintage photo on Instagram of his dad holding him up. It's clear Billy looks a lot like John did as a young boy — and that John got his notoriously great head of hair from Bill. "During this time it's all about balance for me-and if you remain mostly upright, you are doing it well enough. #thanksdad," John captioned the sweet snapshot.
In January, John told Hollywood Life that he and Caitlin, 34, hoped to expand their family. John also shared that he'd been getting emotional as he realized that Billy would soon be starting preschool. "I'll tell you this. The thing what happened today is, we had to go look at preschools, and I walked into the first one, I started bawling my head off," he said.
