The war of words between Jon Gosselin and ex-wife Kate Gosselin doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon.
In a new interview with Dr. Oz, Jon spoke of his strained relationship with six of his eight kids — with whom he hasn't spoken in two years. He blames the estrangement on Kate, accusing her of "parent alienation."
While 20-year-old twins Cara and Mady, as well as 16-year-olds Leah, Alexis, Joel and Aaden, live with Kate, 16-year-olds Hannah and Colin live with Jon. Jon said that due to the living arrangement, the six kids in Kate's household are "shunning" the other two, which he called "sibling alienation."
"And now [Kate's] house is listed and she didn't even notify Hannah that she's moving," Jon said. "[Hannah] was super-upset. She was pretty much upset that that was her childhood home, her mother was selling it and didn't even call her up to say, 'Hey, do you want any of your stuff. Hey, I need to sell this house.' There is no contact."
Jon indicated he at least wants the kids to hash out their differences.
"I mean, I'm giving them the outlet of, 'If you want to talk to the public because you're public [people], you have every opportunity to do these things,'" he said, according to media reports. "I have no idea if they'll reach out in that way. I've left that in their court, and I'm just focused on the two that are living with me because there's so much going on with therapies and work and COVID and everything else."
The former reality TV family has certainly seen its fair share of ups and downs.
Most recently, Colin accused Jon of abuse in a social media message that has since been deleted. Pennsylvania Child & Youth Services investigated and said in September that no charges or citations would be filed.
Kate later accused Jon of being "a violent and abusive person." Jon told "Entertainment Tonight" that Kate was "making false accusations about things that never occurred."
