Naomi Campbell is living up to her reputation as the most germaphobic supermodel.
Campbell's latest precaution amid the coronavirus pandemic is wearing a full hazmat suit – complete with goggles, a face mask and a face shield. The 49-year-old posted a photo of herself in the protective gear on Saturday, May 16.
"On the move…" she captioned the photo, which appeared to have been taken inside a private plane.
Her celebrity pals were in full support of her Tyvek suit. Holly Robinson Peete commented with a goat emoji, implying that Campbell is the greatest of all time. Jonathan Cheban said her look was hot by posting the fire emoji, and Linda Evangelista commented, "Good girl." Evangelista has been a supporter of Campbell's precautions, as Campbell said in a video posted in March that she taught her the importance of protecting your eyes from the coronavirus by wearing goggles.
Campbell has always been a cautious flier when it comes to germs. In a YouTube video posted in July 2019, she showed herself obsessively cleaning her first class pod on a plane, using disposable gloves and antibacterial wipes. "This is what I do on every plane I get on," she said of her routine, which she later admitted she's been doing for the past 15 to 17 years. "I do not care what people think of me. It's my health and it makes me feel better."
Aware that people find her traveling outfits amusing, the 49-year-old commented on her protective gear in a March YouTube video, which she posted shortly before stay-at-home orders went into effect around the country: "In all honesty, this is not a funny time; it's not a humorous time. I'm not doing this for laughs. This is how I feel comfortable traveling if I have to travel. If I do have to go, I'm going like this," she said.
