If you're a professional athlete, maybe happiness begins with a Jonas Brothers concert.
On Oct. 28, just one day after the Los Angeles Dodgers won their first World Series title in 32 years, Nick Jonas floated a funny conspiracy theory that links that title and other recent championships to recent Jonas Brothers concerts.
Nick is calling it the "Jonas Blessing," which he says is the opposite of the years-long "Drake curse," which saw many of his favorite teams lose.
"The Dodgers won the World Series last night, and yet, no one is talking about the very, very obvious theme here," Nick said in a Twitter video. "To fully understand this conspiracy, we have to back things up to September 22, 2019."
On that particular date, the JoBros played a show in Kansas City, Missouri, which was attended by Patrick Mahomes. A few months later, Patrick and the Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl, and the quarterback was named MVP.
Nick then spoke of a Dec. 10, 2019, show in Arizona, which was attended by Dodgers superstar Cody Bellinger. The singer included a picture from Oct. 27 that shows Cody holding up the World Series trophy.
"Last, but not least, certainly not least, Lewis Hamilton attended the Jonas Brothers concert in Paris on February 22," Nick said. "Just last week, he won his 92nd Grand Prix — the most of all time."
Nick theorized that the first step toward winning championships is attending live JoBros shows, calling it the "key to success."
"And just remember, it's not about how hard you practice, how naturally gifted you are," he said, "it's about the 'Year 3000,' 'When You Look Me in the Eyes,' 'S.O.S.,' and of course, 'Sucker.'"
