Pink's husband, Carey Hart, thinks his kid's growth is right on target.
Over the weekend, the former professional motocross racer posted a series of videos and photos that show his daughter, 9, and son, 3, shooting a gun.
"Fun morning shooting with my kids," he said of Willow and Jameson. "Willz is getting seriously good with the rifle and handling of a firearm. And Jamo absolutely loves shooting! And the rate that he is processing the handling of them, he makes me proud."
Knowing that the post may well draw the ire of some Instagram users, Carey wrote, "I'm a firm believer in teaching my kids to shoot, but more importantly, handle a firearm. No better sound than the bullet of your kids' gun plucking a steel target at 30 yards. Have a great weekend, everyone. #IfYouDontLikeItScrollOn #PokeTheBear."
The majority of the comments on his Instagram were positive. In fact, one person noted that the comments were "boring," as he expected critics, whom Carey often calls the "parent police," to be more vocal. Carey told the follower, "I was hoping [for] a good IG fight as well."
One fan told Carey to stop posting the videos, but it wasn't for the reasons one would think.
"Carey, dude. You HAVE to stop this," the person said. "You're ruining the chances of Willz ever finding a guy as cool as her daddy."
This isn't the first time Carey has posted videos of the kids shooting guns. In June, he posted photos of Willow and Jameson practicing their skills.
Last year he even received backlash for posting a video of Willow shooting.
"You are welcome to tap that little blue button," he said at the time. "Ever think how awesome it would be if people didn't have entitlement to throw vile comments on other people's page? I have people that I follow that I don't agree with on their post. Guess what I do? Keep scrolling."
