Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sign deal with Netflix
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have signed a multi-year deal with Netflix for their unnamed production company. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will produce documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and shows for children. The deal comes six months after the couple chose to break away from the royal family, withdrawing from their official duties to embark in a more private life. As they withdrew from their duties, they also lost financial support from the family, and there was heavy speculation on how they would make money moving forward. The financial details of this deal were not made public. The couple made a statement regarding their new endeavor, saying, "Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope. As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us." The two may appear on camera in documentary programming, but despite Markle's background as an actress, she has no plans to return to acting. Harry, who founded the Invictus Games for wounded veterans, recently appeared in the Netflix documentary, "Rising Phoenix" about the Paralympic games.

In a new interview, Paris Hilton opens up about relationship abuse, claiming that she has had five ex-boyfriends who have abused her. "I went through multiple abusive relationships," the heiress told People Magazine. "I was strangled, I was hit, I was grabbed aggressively. I put up with things no one should." In the interview, to promote her new YouTube documentary "This is Paris," she says that she became used to abusive behavior while she attended boarding school in Utah as a teen, saying that she felt it was "normal." The 39-year-old said the relationships all started out nice, but then the men would get "jealous or defensive or try to control me," she explained. "And there there would come a point where they would become physically, verbally and emotionally abusive." Hilton went as far to say that the trauma she experienced at her boarding school also led to her 2003 leaked sex tape. "I would never have let anyone into my life like [the man in the tape, whom she was dating at the time]. I met the worst person I could meet and if I hadn't gone to Provo [Canyon School], I wouldn't have entertained the thought of letting him into my life."

Carol Burnett named guardian of grandson, as her daughter battles addiction
87-year-old Carol Burnett is back to parenting a teenager, after being named a temporary guardian of her grandson Dylan. Burnett, and her husband Brian Miller, have custody of the 14-year-old until mid-January 2021, as her daughter Erin Hamilton (a dance singer who released music in the 90s and 00s), battles substance abuse. In August, the actress sought guardianship over the teen because of Hamilton's "severe substance abuse and addiction issues." His father, Tony West, was also determined to be unable to care for his son, as he also struggles with substance abuse and, according to the filing, cannot financially support his son. Last month Burnett told Page Six, "We look forward to recovery being the next stepping stone towards normalization and ask for privacy at this time to allow that process to occur." At the time, they also noted that Dylan would maintain visitation with his parents throughout the temporary guardianship.
John Boyega slams his "Star Wars" experience
John Boyega is calling Disney out for his experience in the "Star Wars" films. Boyega, who has appeared in 2015's "The Force Awakens," 2017's "The Last Jedi" and 2019's "The Rise of Skywalker," as Finn, spoke to British GQ about how race has factored into his experience. "You get yourself involved in projects and you're not necessarily going to like everything. [But] what I would say to Disney is do not bring out a black character, market them to be much more important in the franchise than they are and then have them pushed to the side. It's not good. I'll say it straight up," the 28-year-old said. "So what do you want me to say? What they want you to say is, 'I enjoyed being a part of it. It was a great experience…' Nah, nah, nah. I'll take that deal when it's a great experience." Boyega also discussed the hate and backlash he received from "Star Wars" fans surrounding his role. "Nobody else in the cast had people saying they were going to boycott the movie because [they were in it]. Nobody else had the uproar and death threats sent to their Instagram DMs and social media, saying, 'Black this and black that and you shouldn't be a Stormtrooper,'" he explained. "Nobody else had that experience. But yet people are surprised that I'm this way. That's my frustration."
Jesse James Decker admits she hates working out
Jesse James Decker opens up about her fitness regime in a new Instagram post, accompanied by a photo of her looking toned in a turquoise bikini. "Gonna be honest… I hate working out. I dread it. I'm one of those girls that watches the clock and counts down to the last second when I can be done," the mom of three admitted. "I wish I enjoyed it. I wish I was a big workout junkie but the truth is I just don't! With that being said… I do know that in order to achieve the strong body that I want to have and maintain I MUST put the hard work into it." Decker went on to explain what she begrudgingly does to stay in shape, first admitting that she hates running, and avoids that. "I do enjoy lifting weights and quick circuit training. I love the stairmaster, I love nice long walks (lunges are key, I do 100 at a time). I work out a few times a week and usually no more than 40 minutes time," she explained. She also noted that the biggest factor in her health is watching what she eats, following a high-protein, low-carb diet. In her upcoming cookbook "Just Feed Me," she says she shares a detailed description of what she eats in a day, along with recipes.
