"Selling Sunset" star Christine Quinn's home security system would make the "Tiger King" proud.
On a recent episode of MTV's "Cribs," the reality TV star revealed that the Los Angeles home she shares with her husband is very well protected by "armed guards" and "canine unit dogs." Oh yeah, they also have a tiger on their property.
During the episode, the wild tiger was seen sitting on a patch of grass without a leash or cage.
"He is so friendly," Christine said. "When we've had the tiger, he isn't even on a leash. I've been within a foot of him and I wasn't nervous at all."
For Christine, like most people, feeling safe at home is a necessity.
"We got it all because the house was featured on 'Selling Sunset.' My neighbors recognized it and called me up," she said, according to the Daily Star. "I realized it meant people knew where we live now. That was a little scary to me because we are here a lot. And now, when we are away, we take extra precautions."
The famous real estate agent has gotten several death threats since gaining notoriety on the Netflix show.
"We were warned that a lot of weird things were happening in the area and I joked, 'If guns and dogs don't scare people, we need a tiger,'" she said. "Then I decided it would be really fun to do that. So we found this guy who trains tigers as pets and got one."
She added, "I never thought I would be the kind of person who would need all this … having armed guards in the driveway. But I'm thankful to be in this position. You're only hated if you've done something great. That's how I like to look at it."
