The 2018 Daytime Emmy Awards are a night when the stars of daytime television receive accolades… and we get to critique the fashion! First up from the April 29 show is Kellie Pickler! The star, nominated for her hosting duties on "Pickler and Ben," certainly made her presence known on the red carpet. Kellie rocked this bright, blinding yellow halter-style gown complete with a full skirt and mounds of tulle underneath. The jury's out on whether or not this one's a hit or a miss, so let's take a look from another angle! Drama is synonymous with daytime TV, and "Days of Our Lives" star Victoria Konefal certainly brought plenty of it to the red carpet! The soap star nearly shut down the Daytime Emmys carpet in this stunning one-shouldered gown, complete with a thigh-high slit and an ultra-glam train. Her strappy heels were an excellent choice, and her jewels and beauty look elevated this ensemble even further. See them next!
Victoria Konefal kept the drama coming with that slicked-back hairdo. Killer brows and a nude lip completed her stellar beauty look. The oversized hoops and chunky jeweled necklace, though unconventionally paired, worked well together and made this look one of our favorites of the night.
Rena Sofer is one of the queens of daytime, and though we loved the blue hues of her dress, when paired with tan wedges, the ensemble looked a little too casual for daytime TV's biggest night.
Flawless! Tamera Mowry rocked this gorgeous ivory neoprene gown by Jovani, which featured a halter neckline with an extra strap on the left side. To balance out that funky detail, the dress had a thigh-high slit up the right side, which helped show off her silver sequined pumps. We'll get a better glance at her killer earrings next!

This might be the definition of extra! "The Bold and the Beautiful" star Jacqueline MacInnes Wood showed up in this gigantic creation, which featured a plunging neckline and a majorly bedazzled bodice. If the top didn't have enough going on, the full skirt of the gown featured layers and layers of pale blue tulle. And just to make an even bigger fashion statement, Jacqueline cemented the miss with a matching flower crown.
Tangerine dream! Natalie Morales arrived at the Daytime Emmy Awards in this lovely orange Rubin Singer design. The strapless dress featured a flowing A-line skirt and paired perfectly with her silver clutch.
While most of the men's fashion at the Daytime Emmy Awards bored, "The Bold and the Beautiful" star Rome Flynn was a breath of fresh and fashionable air! The outstanding younger actor winner sported a sleek, striped suit jacket with white pants and dress shoes for a look that was both bold and beautiful!
Metallic fringe? Sign us up! Nadia Bjorlin rocked this sparkling confection with a plunging neckline and layers of shimmering fringe and finished it off with equally shiny shoes. We loved the way she accessorized with minimal jewels and a dark metallic clutch, choosing to not detract from the frock.
We adore this look… for a brunch date with the girls. While Elizabeth Hendrickson's darling multicolored dress featured fun straps, plenty of cut-outs and a billowy skirt complete with slits, it doesn't exactly scream award show attire. We weren't in love with Jennifer Gareis's gown, but it was her hair and makeup that officially lost us. The star's blonde tresses were styled in a messy, loose braid, sending mixed messages when paired with her ball gown. And her boring, super-simple jewelry certainly didn't help matters.
Shimmering and stunning! "The Young and the Restless" star Mishael Morgan dressed to impress at the Daytime Emmy Awards, donning this sleeveless golden gown with a full, flowing skirt.
Here at Wonderwall, we always love a good pantsuit moment — but Suzanne Rogers disappointed in this ill-fitting version. She paired her pantsuit with an oversized (and bedazzled!) bow tie and massive cuffs for an odd and unfashionable twist on one of our favorite red carpet staples.

Adorable! We love a new take on the LBD, and Molly Burnett's frock was one of our favorites of the night with its frills, ruffles and layers of sheer polka dots.
We love Kate Linder on "The Young and the Restless," but we weren't crazy about this purple sequined confection. The dress by itself would have been fine, but those excessive bows on the sleeves made this look a miss.
Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis sported this sweet red lace number at the Daytime Emmy Awards, and we loved its high neck and scalloped short sleeves. Her matching strappy heels finished up the fab look perfectly.
Another award show "casual"-ty! Heather Tom was another soap star who opted for an ultra-casual ensemble — this sleeveless floral dress that she strangely paired with heeled ankle boots.
Sometimes it's best to stick with the classics! "The Young and the Restless" star Melissa Ordway's little black dress featuring spaghetti straps and a thigh-high slit was a perfect fit! And we liked how she accessorized with simple earrings and a studded clutch.
Sometimes too many changes on a classic result in a fashion mistake! Summer Chastant rocked an LBD with a few too many alterations, making it a fashion miss in our book. The plunging neckline didn't pair well with the nearly waist-high slit on the side, and her light-colored heel choice solidified this look as a pass.
Lori Harvey was on hand to support dad Steve Harvey at the Daytime Emmy Awards, and while we typically don't love rompers on the red carpet, we loved the print on this one. Her velvet strappy heels made sure this style didn't feel too casual, and her hair and makeup were certainly award show ready. See them next!

Joely Fisher's oversized, billowy sleeves provided a cape-like moment on the red carpet, and we didn't hate it! The sequined dress flowed beautifully and she added the perfect amount of accessories for a well-executed Daytime Emmys ensemble.
"The Bold and the Beautiful" beauty Reign Edwards wore this gorgeous gold gown with plenty of cut-outs and shimmering fringe. We loved the way she paired it with matching strappy heels and opted to rock a slicked-back ponytail to finish off the glamorous ensemble.
Yikes! "The Young and the Restless" vet Victoria Rowell's stark black top clashed with her bizarre skirt choice — which was comprised of a pastel floral fabric fit for making curtains. This one's an instant miss!
Fit for a princess! "Days of Our Lives" star Sal Stowers looked regal in a glamorous long-sleeved golden gown. We loved the embellishments and the way Sal went sans accessories to keep all the attention on that stunning frock.
Sleek in salmon! Michelle Stafford's pretty gown fit the star of "The Young and the Restless" perfectly. Bonus points for selecting a shade superb for spring!
Sheer dresses don't always work. Lilly Melgar's black and nude getup proved this — its zebra print-like black streaks all over that sheer fabric resulted in a fashion miss.
"The Young and the Restless" star Kelly Kruger arrived in this strapless mermaid gown. We loved the rich shade of red and the sweetheart neckline plus the way the soap star opted to keep the focus on her dress by going with a simple, straight hairstyle and warm makeup shades.
