Fashion hits and misses from the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards

There wasn't much to heart on the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet. Now that the awards have been handed out, Wonderwall.com is rounding up the best and worst dressed stars at the show. First up? Taylor Swift! We know this show skews young, but that doesn't make it OK to buy your red carpet getup at your local mall's Justice! The superstar donned this Rosa Bloom purple sequined romper complete with short sleeves and short shorts. Taylor Swift truly committed to the sparkly, youthful vibe by adding these Sophie Webster heels complete with butterflies on the heel. To complete her tween-approved look, she also added a dash of pink to her usually blonde hair, which we'll check out next…

If the sequined romper and butterfly heels weren't enough, Taylor Swift also added dashes of hot pink to her hair. When it came time for makeup, the superstar donned purple eyeshadow and a bright pink lip, giving us some serious unicorn vibes in a bad way.

While Taylor Swift dressed like a tween, Katy Perry dressed like our grandma in the '50s. The star donned this strange checkered dress by Paskal that was covered in clear plastic and gave a tiny glimpse of a blue bra underneath. When it came time for accessories, things got even weirder. Katy added a wig, a headband, a thick black belt and thumb-less black patent leather gloves for no apparent reason. And when it came to shoes, well… let's take a closer look next!

Katy Perry's slicked-back platinum hairstyle — which appears to be a wig — sat below a thick black patent-leather headband. When it came time for jewelry and makeup, she kept things equally eccentric with chunky dangling earrings, a bright red lip and pink eyeshadow, which all added up to a look that kept us scratching our heads the rest of the night.

In a sea of questionable looks, Elle Fanning brought the fashion at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. The star looked like a million bucks in this ethereal Miu Miu gown in a stunning nude hue with delicate embellishments down the bodice. Next we'll see her beauty look and her Tiffany jewels…

When it came time to accessorizing her stunning Miu Miu gown, Elle Fanning opted for bracelets and earrings from Tiffany & Co. She completed her look with simple, flowing hair and a pretty pink lip.

Kacey Musgraves missed the mark with this minidress. Though we've been digging the country crooner's style as of late, this David Koma frock left us underwhelmed with its tiered ruffles and odd color combo of black and green. Let's take a closer look…

We loved Maren Morris' mosaic-like minidress on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet. The intricate sleeveless frock by Rami Kadi featured pretty hues, a plunging neckline and a ruffled asymmetrical detail along one side. She finished off this killer look with strappy metallic sandals.

What's worse, Heidi Klum's hideous flowy leopard-print dress or those awful over-the-knee boots? We think we're going to call this one a draw.

Halsey gave us a different take on the menswear-inspired craze on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet in this cool Dsquared2 ensemble comprised of an intricate white blouse, black bow tie and skinny pants. She finished off her funky outfit with a pair of pointy-toe pumps. Next up, a better look at her hair, makeup and accessories.

Aside from accessorizing with a bow tie, Halsey also had some pretty fan-shaped earrings on display. She matched her eyeshadow to her pink hair and rocked some amazing lashes and a pink lip to complete her iHeartRadio ensemble.

Bebe Rexha apparently felt like channeling the spirit of Zorro on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet. Why? We have absolutely no idea. She rocked this black jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and an odd hat atop her head, which we'll check out next…

That hat! Though we weren't crazy about her odd headwear, we can't deny that Bebe Rexha's smokey eye and nude lip were stellar.

Representing for the gentlemen? Miguel, who arrived on the red carpet in style in this fresh gray plaid suit, which he paired with a lime green turtleneck and black dress shoes for an impossibly cool look.

Straight outta Hot Topic! Billie Eilish donned a gothic Sailor Moon-inspired getup comprised of knee-length shorts and an oversized jacket that we're pretty sure came from the beloved mall store. Next up, a better look at her excessive accessories…

It was mounds of edgy rings, funky studded bracelets and a panoply of necklaces for Billie Eilish on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet. The star also debuted a darker hairstyle, having most recently rocked an icy blue hue.

John Legend rocked lilac and white for a perfect pre-spring getup. We loved the unexpected color of his Paul Smith suit and the way he paired it with those stark white Celine boots.

The men really stepped it up in the fashion department at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, bringing a range of pretty colors to the red carpet. T-Pain picked this cool bright orange suit, a floral shirt and strikingly white sneakers for a chic ensemble.

Betty Who, why? The singer essentially wore a sleeveless bodysuit, so we're unsure why she even bothered with the completely sheer long sleeves and pants. She finished off the odd choice with a pair of silver heels for an underwhelming look.

A sheer look we did like? Jessica Szohr's fun jumpsuit. From the spaghetti straps to the sweetheart neckline, we loved the bodice of this one-piece so much that we didn't even mind those sheer lace pants.

The worst dressed guy on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet? That has to be Drake Bell, who wore this unfortunate tan plaid suit, a red patterned tie and funky Gucci footwear.

Shay Mitchell, is that you? Shay debuted a drastically different hairstyle on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet — a platinum blonde hue — and rocked an equally eye-catching outfit: this fun silver sparkly mirrored jumpsuit with a matching jacket. Now we've got to get a better look at that hair…

Shay Mitchell rocked her icy-hued hair in messy waves. Equally eye-catching? That killer cat eye and her gorgeous eyeshadow. She completed her pretty beauty look with a pink lip and perfectly sculpted brows.

Madison Beer donned a white strapless frock by Ester Abner complete with daringly high hemline and a pleated panel down the middle. We weren't crazy about that tired asymmetrical cut and the iridescent Casadei pumps she paired with it.

We adored Zara Larsson's floral minidress. The sweet frock had three-quarter-length sleeves and a belted detail. She paired it with metallic sandals for a perfectly spring-ready look.
