Winning stars in film, TV, music and comedy came out to collect their surfboard prizes at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards in Hermosa Beach, California, on Aug. 11. Here at Wonderwall.com, we've decided to hand out our own awards to the best and worst dressed celebs of the night, starting with Taylor Swift. The "You Need to Calm Down" songstress wore an anything-but-calm Versace short suit in a fun, vibrant all-over print. The geo-inspired pattern, designed with teeny-tiny black and red gemstones, on Lucy Hale's dress really stands out at closer glance. She paired the fiery number with an equally as bright red lip to make for a cohesively striking fashion statement.
Jessica Alba stunned in a maxidress that was both red-carpet glamorous and laid back enough for summer at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. The "L.A.'s Finest" star's black Oscar de la Renta halter featured a light floral print, plunging neckline and whimsical flowing skirt. Next up, check out her glimmering gold accessories.

WWE sisters Nikki Bella and Brie Bella did as twins do and literally twinned in coordinating Luciana Balderama ensembles at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. Nikki (left) wore a metallic tan two-piece number with a cropped off-the-shoulder top and high-waisted trousers, while Brie opted for a lavender wrap minidress in the same glimmering fabric.
Sarah Hyland really ran with the fact that the 2019 Teen Choice Awards was held at the beach when picking out her ensemble. The "Modern Family" actress sported a swimwear-inspired Teresa Helbig crop top and flared miniskirt with ruffled beige lace atop a neon orange base color. Her outfit just looked a bit too much like a skimpy bathing suit cover up but take a closer look at her fresh hair and makeup, next.

Zendaya likewise took the beach theme too far at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. The "Euphoria" star wore an oversized yellow plaid button-up and strange lime green shorts that appeared to be purposely inside out, both by designer Jacquemus. At least her hair was everything!
Zendaya's ensemble was totally turned around, but her hairstyle gave us major mermaid vibes. She rocked a lengthy fishtail braid in an ombre red-to-blonde color.
Emily Osment's bright and airy linen short suit by Allen Schwartz was perfect for the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. The "Almost Family" star looked summer-ready in a magenta blazer with casual rolled-up sleeves and matching high-waisted shorts loosely tied with a bow. She paired the vibrant set with a simple white crop top underneath.
Jennie Garth went for a similar vibe in a magenta blazer dress at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, but her ensemble wasn't as flattering. The "BH90210" star's small frame was overpowered by the frock's oversized shoulder pads and awkward length. And the addition of bold yellow pumps brought her look too far back into the '80s.
Alex Morgan, who presented Taylor Swift with the inaugural Icon Award at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, was a winner in her own right when it came to fashion. The soccer star looked like a dazzling mermaid in a loose-fitting sequin sherbet crop top and matching midiskirt with a sexy slit by Song of Style. A messy bun completed the whimsical ocean-vibes look.
Tori Spelling transformed into a flower child from the '70s in an over-the-top sunflower-print frock at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. The "BH90210" actress then oddly paired her floral mididress with chunky black-and-gold Chanel accessories, including a matching choker, cuff and belt. Smh?
Maddie Ziegler took a far better approach to Chanel at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards in a young and fun vintage turquoise pantsuit with neon orange trim. The dancer added a bit of sex appeal by going sans undershirt but kept it classy with timeless accessories by the brand including a miniature black chain-link handbag.
Candace Cameron Bure went full-on animal print at the 2019 Teen Choice Awards, but we think it'd be better for her to stick with one wild creature per outfit from now on. She wore a tied-up zebra blouse and tiger-inspired shorts by Le Superbe.
We think Megalyn Echikunwoke might have gotten the 2019 Teen Choice Awards mixed up with the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards because she showed up looking like their signature green slime! The "Night School" actress wore a neon Maison Rabih Kayrouz number with a floor-length dress shirt unbuttoned all the way down from the neck and oversized matching trousers. We aren't hating on her royal blue ball clutch by Gelareh Mizrahi though.
