Twice a year, celebrities from around the globe head to New York City to witness the unveiling of their favorite designers' latest collections. February is when designers debut their Fall/Winter lines and this year is on par to be one of the hottest ever with some of the most eye-catching and jaw-dropping looks yet (including floral patterns, pinstripes and a major '80s vibe). In honor of the stars who make this bi-annual event so much fun to watch, Wonderwall.com is taking a look at what they wore to the fashion shows and parties to see who nailed it and who failed it… starting with Halsey. The singer channeled Old Hollywood at Fashion Week's amfAR Gala in a strapless black Georges Hobeika gown with a hip-high slit that revealed her amazingly toned and tatted arms and legs. The singer brought the volume with some seriously chunky Lorraine Schwartz diamond jewelry and a pair of super-high Jimmy Choo heels, giving her an updated Marilyn Monroe kind of vibe. Keep reading to see more celebrity style hits and misses from New York Fashion Week…

It's Halsey again! On Feb. 6, 2018, the singer arrived for the Tom Ford Men's Fall/Winter show rocking a beige bodysuit and hip-revealing pants by the designer that showed off her amazing curves. And can we talk about those poppin' pink heels? They're possibly our favorite part of her look. We're just hoping Halsey brought a jacket because brrr, it's cold in New York.

Kendall Jenner showed up at the Sandra Choi and Virgil Abloh dinner celebrating The Off-White C/O Jimmy Choo Collection on Feb. 11, 2018, looking on-trend and totally fabulous in a floral kimono-style black-and-pink suit with matching heels. The model brightened up the look with a dangling tangerine belt that showed off her impossibly tiny waist.

Proving flower power is still a thing, Australian actress Isla Fisher arrived at the Kate Spade Fall/Winter 2018 presentation on Feb. 9, 2018, wearing a botanical-print chiffon midi-length dress by the designer. The frock featured panels of matching black lace and a high neck that gave the look a Victorian feel. We're loving the pop of color from her sunshine-yellow handbag too.
One look we aren't loving from New York Fashion Week is Lucy Hale's asymmetrical zebra-striped off-the-shoulder minidress from Han Chong's Self-Portrait line. The boxy shape of the dress misses Lucy's killer curves and the strange interrupting pattern looks like a confusing optical illusion. One thing we totally loved was her slicked-back '80s hairstyle, which seemed to pay homage to our favorite song from the decade, "Simply Irresistible."
Making up for the zebra faux pas, Lucy Hale arrived at the Kate Spade Fall/Winter 2018 presentation on Feb. 9, 2018, looking like she was plucked from an English garden. Rocking the designer's fleur elinore dress in cameo pink with a black lace hem and neck panel, Lucy made us forget about those animal ambitions.
Rapper 21 Savage arrived at the Tom Ford Men's Fall/Winter 2018 show on Feb. 6, 2018, looking dapper in this black-and-white polka-dot tuxedo jacket and bow tie that he paired with side-striped black trousers. While at the show, 21 Savage (whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph) told reporters, "I ain't never really received no fashion advice. I give my own fashion advice." Clearly, it's working for him.
Don't mind Cardi B, she's just slaying the front row of Fashion Week. Hip hop's newest queen arrived at the Christian Siriano show on Feb. 10, 2018, wearing a mint-green suit from Christian's Fall/Winter 2018 collection paired with a boss fur stole by Duckie Confetti and some seriously chunky shades, proving Cardi might be new to the game, but she's already making the rules.
On Feb. 8, 2018, Cardi B was at it in the front row at the Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2018 show. The Bronx-born hip-hop star was having a fashion moment in this Moschino fur coat featuring white newspaper print from Jeremy's 2018 menswear line. Adding to the allure were her knee-high white boots and jet-black Adam Selman x Le Specs shades.
"Stranger Things" actress Natalia Dyer hit up the Kate Spade fashion show on Feb 9, 2018, looking feminine and sweet in the designer's black flora tulip sleeve dress. While the frock (which comes from Kate's spring line) is a perfect fit, we're actually a little bored by this look and wish Natalia had added a little pop of color or an accessory. Her ensemble would have been a hit if she'd swapped the black round-toe heels for a pointy-toe pair (this season's must-have shoe) in a solid shade like baby pink or even teal to pick up the hint of color in the dress.
Victoria Justice worked the floral fashion trend at the Philipp Plein Fall/Winter 2018 show on Feb. 10, 2018. We love the peek-a-boob front and fitted silhouette paired with edgy fishnet stockings and diamond hoop earrings.
Meg Ryan looked incredible at the Christian Siriano show on Feb. 10, 2018, wearing this tailored white suit with bell-bottom pants and a silky white blouse. Shortly before Meg took her seat in the front row, it was announced that she will star in the upcoming TV series "Picture Paris."
Caleb McLaughlin might be 16 but the boy clearly knows how to dress. He proved his fashion sense at the 3.1 Phillip Lim Fall/Winter 2018 presentation on Feb. 12, 2018, where he pulled off this season's coolest trend: stripes. The pairing of horizontal and vertical stripes in complementary colors (and that turtleneck, yes!) made Caleb look a little bit older and a whole lot cuter than we realized.
Former One Direction member Zayn Malik occupied the front row at the Tom Ford show on Feb. 8, 2018, wearing a color combo we wish we could unsee. Zayn's pea-green suede jacket and matching ribbed thin-knit sweater washed him out and gave him a pasty pallor. Plus his dark-wash jeans and gleaming white kicks just felt awfully casual. We're also not a fan of those Lennon shades he's wearing (they're just the wrong shape for his face).
We can't get over how ah-mazing "Orange Is the New Black" star Danielle Brooks looked on the runway at the Christian Siriano Fall/Winter 2018 show on Feb. 10, 2018. Making her catwalk-model debut, Danielle stunned in this turquoise blue gown featuring a cape at her shoulders and flowing fabric that made her look like an absolute queen.
Just 10 months ago, Ciara and her NFL star husband, Russell Wilson, had a baby, but you wouldn't know it by looking at this toned and taut singer. Ciara went all-denim at the Tom Ford presentation on Feb. 6, 2018. While some fashion critics weren't loving the look, we're giving her a big "hell yeah." Ciara looks flawless in this single-button denim suit jacket with a peep of denim bra. We even love the high-water roll of her jeans and the subtle hint of matching blue in her pointy-toe heels. Sorry not sorry, but she looks jean-tastic.
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" creator, executive producer and star Rachel Bloom is one of our all-time favorites, so it kills us to say we didn't love the floral-embroidered puff-sleeve pinstripe dress she wore to the Kate Spade Fall/Winter 2018 presentation on Feb. 9, 2018. The dress, which is an elongated version of a look from the designer's Spring 2018 line, is perfect for, say, a picnic in the country. But while sitting in the front row at a fashion show, Rachel needed more depth and color to make her pop. In this look, her glossy, dark hair color is actually doing all the heavy lifting, giving her dimension and contrast, which this dress, sadly, doesn't have.
Models Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Ashley Graham gleamed in winter white at the Brandon Maxwell Fall/Winter 2018 show on Feb. 11, 2018. Rosie (left) opted for a ribbed turtleneck cinched at the waist with a frosty leather belt that gave her a beautiful silhouette against her flared floor-length pants. Not seen is the gorgeous blue crocodile-print bag she accessorized the look with. Ashley (right) took her style to another level with a bold embossed corset to give contrast to her sleeveless white top and flowing white palazzo pants. A+ for Ashley's high pony that added some drama while also displaying her amazing shoulders.
We could definitely rip on Scott Eastwood for his informal attire at the Li-Ning Fall/Winter 2018 Collection show on Feb. 7, 2018, but he's wearing the designer's signature apparel. So while we wish Scott (who's undeniably handsome) had put more effort into his look and done more than simply don a pullover sweatshirt and shades, he doesn't necessarily stand out as inappropriately dressed. Side note — did anyone else think he was Scott Disick for a hot second?
We want to love the all-black looks that Solange Knowles and Maria Hatzistefanis rocked at the Stuart Weitzman Celebrates Giovanni Morelli's Debut Collection for Fall/Winter 2018 event on Feb. 8, 2018, but we just don't. Going against every trend of the season, Solange (who wore Jacquemus and an elongated corset belt from Loewe) gets lost under the loose-fitting fabric and wide-cut, cropped trousers. She even donned black shoes and a handbag, which felt a bit like overkill. Maria's attire is similar in that it seems a bit bulky and unflattering on her shape, although we love the fact that she paired her outfit with matte gray heels.
Another "Orange Is the New Black" alum who turned up the heat was Laverne Cox, who sizzled in this tailored ruby suit with matching red lips. Standing with her is transgender activist, author and TV host Janet Mock (center), who had fun with color in a stunning yellow dress, vibrant red lip and killer blue heels (love). Sadly, we aren't seeing hearts for the floral coat dress and face-obscuring black hat that fellow author and TV host La La Anthony (left) wore. It made her look like she was working undercover instead of shining in the spotlight.
Yet another "Orange Is the New Black" star working it at New York Fashion Week is actress Jackie Cruz, who attended the Kate Spade fashion show on Feb. 9, 2018. Jackie incorporated some playful retro pieces into her look, including high-waisted denim, a black leather fanny pack (we're in love) and a fur-trimmed trench coat that, all together, gave her a bit of an '80s-glam feel (which, along with floral prints, is one of the hottest runway trends this year). We're also really digging her super-short 'do.
Jamie Chung actually wore a lot of amazing looks during New York Fashion Week, but our favorite was this Self-Portrait cold-shoulder navy pinstripe dress. The unique cut of the dress gives it great movement while also defining Jamie's ultra-feminine figure. Her long, tousled hair and thigh-high boots add an edgy touch that turns this simple and elegant dress into a complete and really sophisticated look.
Cozying up to half of the design team behind the Cushnie Et Ochs label is a wise choice for "Top Chef" host Padma Lakshmi. Seen here with Carly Cushnie at the debut of her and Michelle Ochs' Fall/Winter 2018 line on Feb. 9, 2018, Padma shined in the designers' pre-fall 2018 teal one-shoulder jumpsuit with their signature fringe embellishment across the front. Because Padma's clearly an OG when it comes to great fashion, she amped up her look with a white fur bomber jacket and sparkly gold clutch.
Whoopi Goldberg was in full Chris Leba fashion when she arrived at his R13 Fall/Winter 2018 debut show on Feb. 10, 2018. Rocking the brand's oversized Elvis mugshot sweater, Whoopi showed that even at 62, she's got her eye on style. We love the addition of a striped scarf to add a little depth to the look and play on the season's love of all things stripey.
