To celebrate the ladies (minus Posh!) hitting the road for their big reunion tour that kicks off on May 24, 2019, Wonderwall.com is taking a look back at Baby, Posh, Scary, Sporty and Ginger's amazingly retro '90s looks, starting with this classic Spice Girls shot. Mel B's sky-high platform sneakers! Victoria Beckham's standard LBD! Emma Bunton's signature baby pink! Mel C's sporty sweats! And Geri Halliwell in… well… something totally Geri! This photoshoot encapsulates the Spice Girls' unique flair for fashion perfectly — and makes us miss the days of fabulously loud '90s style. Keep reading to put some more Spice in your life…
Nothing says Spice Girls like a Union Jack minidress! Geri Halliwell often rocked her country's native flag in her attire, showing off her patriotism in shoe or dress form. Ginger Spice rocked this look while performing with the Spice Girls at the 1997 Brit Awards in London… and we're pretty sure we bought one just like it!

Even when they all matched, the Spice Girls didn't disappoint. When the ladies rocked the same pinstriped menswear-inspired suits at the "Spice World" premiere in London in 1997, they flashed their individuality via their shoe choice. Sporty in sneakers? Natch! Each woman always managed to stay true to her look!

Before she was Victoria Beckham, she was Victoria Adams! Posh Spice kept things, well, posh in this high-fashion, high-slit sparkly frock while on stage with the Spice Girls at the Royal Variety Performance in 1997.
The Spice Girls might have rocked very unique styles individually, but there was one fashion rule they all seemed to embrace — show a lot of skin! At the MTV Europe Music Awards in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in November 1997, the girls did just that, all in their own way. Victoria Beckham (then Adams) opted for a slinky metallic mini, while Emma Bunton went with — what else — a frock embellished with a pink design. Scary Spice Melanie Brown wore a lime-green ensemble comprised of a bralette, short shorts, a cape and thigh-high boots, while Ginger Spice Geri Halliwell accessorized her barely-there spangly red outfit with a plush boa. And Melanie Chisholm managed to keep things red-carpet-sporty in a mesh crop top and blue pants.
This look can only be described as… very, very '90s. Melanie Brown showed off her softer, less-scary side at an awards show in London in May 2000 in this lavender lingerie-inspired sheer and frilly ensemble.
Pepsi time! In 1997, the Spice Girls donned their Pepsi logo-emblazoned best for a promotional spot for the soft drink.
Plaid, sparkles and cargo pants were a few '90s trends that the Spice Girls embraced wholeheartedly. For an event in October 1996, Scary Spice selected two of those — going with a plaid tank top and cargo pants — while Ginger rocked a sparkly blue two-piece outfit. The rest of the Spice Girls stayed true to their aesthetics, with Posh in an all-black look, Baby in feminine purple and Sporty in Adidas sweatpants and a heavy black jacket.
Emma Bunton's signature color as Baby Spice had to be pink! The star wore a minidress with an asymmetrical hemline in that hue while performing at the Brit Awards in London in 2000 — and rocked another popular trend at the turn of the century: face glitter!
While making an appearance in Johannesburg, South Africa, in October 1997, most of the Spice Girls dressed to the nines (with the exception of Sporty Spice in her wrinkled tank top… but at least that's on-brand). Scary, Baby and Ginger all rocked signature platforms, while Posh kept things fashionable in a gold menswear-inspired ensemble.
Beaded Native-American-inspired tops were all the rage in the late '90s, and Melanie Chisholm embraced the trend while attending the premiere of "Big Daddy" in 1999. Sporty Spice even took a page from Baby Spice's book by adding a dash of pink to her look with those cowboy boots while attending the movie premiere.
The Spice Girls were spotted on the red carpet at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards rocking the looks we've come to know and love! Victoria Beckham in a slinky black dress, Emma Bunton in a blue babydoll dress and pigtails, Mel B in an animal-print ensemble, Geri Halliwell rocking an American-flag-print leotard and Mel C in a white sports bra and joggers.
Matching once more! The Spice Girls all went with a chic white pantsuit look at the "Spice World" premiere in Los Angeles in January 1998. And once again, Sporty rocked sneakers, with the rest of the ladies opting for their favorite footwear of choice.
Geri Halliwell could always be counted on to make a spicy, bright fashion statement, like the time she donned a watermelon-inspired pink-and-green pleather combination at an MTV awards show in New York City in 1997.
Posh Spice stayed true to her name with this getup! Victoria Beckham sported this chic white ensemble while performing with the Spice Girls in October 1997. Of all her crazy '90s looks, this one has the most staying power!
Emma Bunton left no doubt about her Spice Girl stage name with this vibrant outfit. She wore a pink minidress with spaghetti straps, her go-to blonde pigtails and a bedazzled necklace reading "BABY" at AOL headquarters in New York City on March 14, 1997.
Baggy overalls and platform shoes? Mel B wore multiple '90s trends at once while leaving Heathrow Airport in London in 1998.
The sportiest! Melanie Chisholm, better known as Mel C, was most comfortable in an Adidas sweatsuit, like this red one. The music superstar rocked this very sporty ensemble while performing in London in 1997.
Friendship never ends! Even when they were traveling, the Spice Girls stuck together. Here Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown showed off their best airport style at Heathrow Airport in London in 1997. Emma showed that Baby could sometimes dress like a grownup — rocking a long, sheer lace number underneath a denim jacket — while Mel B opted for a lot of fringe, denim and sky-high platform sneakers!
Never afraid to push the envelope, Geri Halliwell rocked this tight teal jumpsuit while breezing through London's Heathrow Airport on June 2, 1997. And while the outfit looks like it could easily be copied in 2016, those shoes are standard Spice Girls!
Before Miley Cyrus rocked space buns, there was Mel B and her hair horns! Scary Spice showed off the funky 'do and flaunted some bold '90s style to match while leaving the Ivor Novello Awards in London in 1997. Zig-a-zig-ah!
At the 1997 Billboard Awards, the Spice Girls kept things effortlessly '90s cool. Mel C donned her trademark sneakers, a crop top and baggy pants, while Geri Halliwell wore a fun and funky white two-piece Elvis-inspired outfit that showed a lot of skin. Victoria Adams rocked a metallic mini before she was Mrs. Beckham, Melanie Brown showed off plenty of cleavage in her pantsuit-and-bra combo and Emma Bunton flashed a peace sign in her sparkly minidress and blazer.
In this snap from 1996, the Spice Girls seemed to be having a grand ol' time — while each rocked a different hue. Mel C wore her requisite athleisure in the form of a green sports bra and sweatpants, Victoria wore her signature black, Mel B went for a red look topped with a sparkly silver vest, Emma donned her designated Baby shade of pale pink and Geri rounded out the group in a bold blue number.
Victoria Beckham looked quintessentially "Posh" in this cream-colored minidress. She rocked the polished look with a black headband while on the set of a photo shoot in Bali in April 1997. Chic!
Mel B wore this super-cute blue polo shirt with a red-and-blue bandeau top underneath while promoting "Spice World" in 1997. She finished the look with denim short shorts, black booties and her signature curly locks. Love!
All five of the Spice Girls brought '90s glam to the Brit Awards in 1998. Mel B and Mel C rocked their signature looks with an animal-print set and an orange-and-blue sporty look, respectively. Victoria Beckham switched up her beloved all-black look with a black-and-yellow striped minidress. Emma Bunton looked gorg in a purple sequined halter minidress and Geri Halliwell completed the group's look with a red velvet dress.
