Stars expecting babies in 2017

There must be something in the water! Either that, or baby fever just ran rampant in Hollywood, because there's a slew of stars expecting little ones in 2017… like Jessica Alba, who made the announcement that she was expecting baby number three on July 17. "@cash_warren and I are officially going to be outnumbered #babyonboard #herewegoagain 👶🏼🤰🏽#blessed🙏" Jessica wrote alongside an adorable video with showcasing daughters Honor and Haven breaking the big news. Tennis icon Serena Williams announced on April 19, 2017 that she was 20 weeks pregnant with her first child. The athlete announced the news on Snapchat, where she donned a swimsuit that showed her barely-there baby bump. Serena got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in December 2016.

Ciara took to Instagram on her 31st birthday, Oct. 25, 2016, to announce her and hubby Russell Wilson's happy pregnancy news. The "I Bet" singer made her 2-year-old son, from a previous relationship with rapper Future, a big brother in April when she welcomed daughter Sienna Princess to the world.

George Clooney and Amal Clooney it was announced in February 2017 that the actor and his wife were expecting twins. Amal "has let everyone in both families know quietly," a source told People. "They're all very happy." The couple welcomed the babies, son Alexander and daughter Ella, on June 6.

Lauren Conrad broke the news on New Year's Eve: she and her husband William Tell are expecting their first child. Lauren shared a picture of an ultrasound to her Instagram page. "Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2017 is going to be the best year yet…," she wrote. That July she also took to social media to announce that son Liam James was born in early July.

Jason Statham and Rosie-Huntington-Whiteley also joined the parents club in 2017! After much speculation, the model confirmed the news on Instagram, posting a photo (taken by Jason) to Instagram that showed off her baby bump. "Very happy to share that Jason and I are expecting!" she captioned the shot. She signed it with "lots of love." They welcomes Jack Oscar Statham to the world on June 24.

Lake Bell, 37, and her tattoo artist hubby, Scott Campbell, 39, were also expecting in 2017. The "Man Up" actress, already mom to daughter Nova Campbell, showed off her growing bump at the AG + Vanity Fair Opening of Saved in Los Angeles on Dec. 8, and announced the birth of her son in early June.

This one sounds a little obvious. Jill Duggar Dillard and husband Derick Dillard are expecting a second child in July. "We are so excited to be expecting Dillard baby #2!" Jill and Derick told People. "Children really are a wonderful blessing from God. Having [son] Israel has been such a delight to us that we know a second sweet baby will only continue to add joy to our family. We are thankful to God for this sweet child and we cannot wait to see her or him face to face!"

Lea Seydoux, 31, and boyfriend Andre Meyer were expecting their first little one at the beginning of the year. The former Bond girl was pregnant at the same time as her "It's Only the End of the World" co-star Marion Cotillard, and gave birth to a son in January.

On Dec. 5, Jimmy Kimmel used his late-night talk show as a platform to share the news that he and Molly McNearney are gearing up for their second bundle of joy in 2017. After revealing that he would be hosting the Oscars next year, he joked, "And also, my wife is hosting a baby inside her body." The "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" star and his wife welcomed son Billy in April, who joined big sister Jane. He also has two adult children from his first marriage.

Zooey Deschanel and her husband Jacob Pechenik announced they were expecting a second child in 2017. The highly-private couple is already parents to Elsie Otter, who was born in July 2015, and added son Charlie Wolfe to the fold in May 2017.
