Jimmy Kimmel, a straight-As student whose idol was David Letterman, spent his formative years in Brooklyn and Las Vegas before attending college at UNLV and Arizona State where he got his first taste of radio. After bouncing around professional radio stations, he became known as Jimmy the Sports Guy on LA's KROQ.
