Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj dis Taylor Swift and her new single
Kim Kardashian has apparently taken action over Taylor Swift's snake-heavy promotions for her new single, "Look What You Made Me Do." The ditty features more than a few, not-so-thinly-veiled references to Taylor's feud with Kim and Kanye West over Taylor and Kanye's infamous phone call about his song "Famous," and Taylor's been referred to with snake emojis for a while by her haters online. Now, she's all about the reference as she takes it on and spits it back at the people who have wronged her (and that list ain't small). Kim is not feelin' it. According to Vulture, the reality star blocked the snake emoji so it can't be seen in her comments on Instagram — a move Taylor first used when she noticed all the negative snakes her name was turning up on the pages of her own social media. Kim wasn't alone in her apparent dismissal of the new track, either. Within minutes of the single's release, Nicki Minaj, who was openly annoyed a while back when Taylor's "Bad Blood" got an MTV Video of the Year nomination but "Anaconda" didn't, tweeted a Kendrick Lamar song: " … sit down. Be humble." Did we mention another Taylor Swift pop nemesis, Katy Perry, is hosting the MTV VMAs this weekend — and Taylor's video for "Look What You Made Me Do" is set to debut on the show? We'll see you, Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, and raise you every feuding singer in pop.

How Zac Efron got his ridiculous 'Baywatch' bod
ICYMI, "Baywatch" Blu-Ray hits shelves next week, which obviously means you should spend five minutes of your day ogling Zac Efron's abs. Vulture spoke to the man responsible for Zac's over-the-top "Baywatch" bod and it turns out all you need to do to get ripped like that is strength training, balance and agility training five or six times a week for three months plus two-hour lifeguard training pretty much daily and a few 20-30 mile bike rides. Also, don't eat anything fun. "I threw my whole tool box at [Efron]," trainer and nutritionist Patrick McCarthy said. "I basically covered everything dealing with stabilizing and balance and everything dealing with strength and everything dealing with power. We did a lot of balance and agility training, we did a lot of the heavier lifting and strength training with slow movements, and then we also did power train[ing] — quick, very controlled movements like power jumps and power lunges and quick twitch movements and jumping movements." As for the food? "Imagine the calorie expenditure," Murphy said. "Remember, high heart rate is directly related to calorie burning, so he's burning close to 1,000 calories for every workout. … The foundational idea I put him on is the whole food diet. Nothing from a box. All the greens, all the veggies, all the lean protein and the majority of foods he ate were alive and could spoil fairly quickly, because if it spoils quickly, it's going to be a healthier product than something with fillers and preservatives." If somebody had to do it, may we just say we're glad it was Zac?
Gwen Stefani's kids don't want to know about her job
Even rock star status doesn't make a parent more interesting to their kid. "When you're a mom, they don't want to know anything about what you do," Gwen Stefani told Us Weekly at a press party for her new eyewear collection on Wednesday, August 23. "It's all about them, and that's their job. I almost had them come with me today, because it's their last week before school and stuff. They would have hated it here. They don't want to be part of anything. They just want to be the kids and you be the mom." Gwen also said her son Zuma, 9, had a lot to do with her interest in the eyeglasses line. "When your kid has to wear glasses at that young of an age, it breaks your heart," she said in reference to Zuma, whose brothers are Apollo, 3, and Kingston, 11. "You don't want anything to have to be different. You know what I mean? You just want them to be happy. Once we had to have glasses, let's find some cool glasses, and it was hard. So to be able to have the opportunity to make them and have him be part of it has been really cute, and it's so him. He's so the glasses guy now."

Paris Hilton announces her dogs live in an air conditioned dog house with designer furniture
Fun fact: Paris Hilton's pooches have a pretty sick real estate profile. "My dogs live in this two-story doggy mansion that has air conditioning, heating, designer furniture, and a chandelier," she tweeted on Friday, Aug. 25, sharing a photo of a dog hanging out on the veranda of its California-style doghouse. The responses, not surprisingly, were mostly negative. "Where does the butler sleep" asked one poster. Others suggested she should "do something for humans" with her money instead of spending it on the 35 pets she has said she has. The winner, however, may have been the user who shared a Peanuts Gang pic of Snoopy yawning. "I liked Snoopy's better," the tweet began. "And why is Paris Hilt*n trending anyway? I thought that whole thing went away with MySpace?"
Jimmy Kimmel says his feud with Jay Leno is over
Jimmy Kimmel and Jay Leno are pals after a years-long feud — and you can thank Jimmy's son for the change. "Jay and I have made peace," Jimmy told THR this week. "After my son had his operation, he called me and he was very nice." A diehard David Letterman fan who now counts the late night legend as his friend, Jimmy and Jay's feud was reportedly rooted in Jimmy's determination to stick by Dave. (OK, that time Jimmy said "F— him" in reference to Jay in front of a New York audience may have been related.) "You can't argue with [Leno's] success and his longevity. I will say, when I was in high school and college, he was one of my all-time favorite comics." Jimmy said. "You have to remember how much I love David Letterman. When all that stuff happened, I was just a fan, reading Bill Carter's book [1994's 'The Late Shift: Letterman, Leno, and the Network Battle for the Night'] and there was a villain and a hero, and Dave was the hero and Jay was the villain. I started off with a negative feeling about it. I sometimes insert myself into situations I have no business inserting myself into."
Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet hang out reciting 'Titanic' lines to each other
Grab a hankie, "Titanic" fans. The adorability of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio's decades-long friendship knows no bounds. In the new issue of Glamour UK, Kate, who had Leo walk her down the aisle in 2012 and recently vacationed with her former co-star-slash-BFF, admitted the pair sits around reliving their time on a sinking ship quite regularly. "You don't even want to know the last conversation we had, because it was so funny and made me laugh so much," Kate said (via JustJared). "We found ourselves saying to each other, 'Can you imagine if the world really knew the stupid things we say?' I'm not going to tell you what we actually talk about, but yeah, we're very, very close and sometimes we do quote the odd 'Titanic' line back and forth to each other, because only we can, and we find it really funny,"
Madonna's twins celebrate their 5th birthday
Happy birthday, Stella and Estere! Madonna's newest daughters turned 5 this week and Madge helped them celebrate with a matching-outfit dance party, which she posted on Instagram. Although she didn't elaborate on what they did for the rest of the big day, this photo of one birthday girl snoozing in two of her sisters' arms makes it pretty clear it was fun. "Special Girls on a special day! 🎉😂💘🤡🌈🎂🎈💯😍😍😍♥️!!!" Madge captioned the shot. The singer confirmed she'd adopted the twins earlier this year.
Nick Gordon domestic violence charges dropped

She reportedly refused to cooperate with the prosecuting attorneys. Nick was ordered to wear a GPS monitor and stay away from the woman after the incident.
How Fergie overcame rejection by Black Eyed Peas fans
Ahead of the release of her solo album "Double Duchess," Fergie stopped by Sirius XM's Hits 1 on Friday, Aug. 25, where she admitted her early days as a Black Eyed Pea were rough. "'Where Is The Love?' comes out … boom, bloggers: who is this terrible person ruining the Black Eyed Peas? She's horrible! She's awful!" Fergie said, according to JustJared. "I get it. When you hold something so dear, like hardcore fans, for some reason they thought I was some mastermind making the group pop. It was just horrible. Just the worst things possible you could hear about yourself … it was like a punch in the gut, because I was so excited and finally felt free, and then it was like … rejection." Eventually, she managed to tackle the feelings that resulted from the criticism by finding strength. "You gotta find it within yourself … I have prayer," she said. "I have my spirit that just kind of gets me off the floor and just says 'You know that? Mm-mm, mm-mm. This is noise. You know what you're supposed to be doing. You know what your destiny is. Go. Go get it. I'm an underdog. I've always had that underdog fight. This is supposed to happen to me. This is my story."
What happens to Vanessa Grimaldi's ring after Nick Viall split?
Now that Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi have followed in the footsteps of so many other once-engaged "Bachelor" nation couples and called it quits, what happens to the ring Nick put on Vanessa's finger? Business Insider points to news leaked after a previous called-off engagement that revealed ABC requires a couple to stay together for two years in order to be allowed to keep the ring. Vanessa's ring was estimated to be worth between $92,000 and $100,000.
