If there's one award show that consistently delivers jaw-dropping fashion moments — for better or for worse — it's the MTV Europe Music Awards. The 24th Annual MTV EMAs were held at London's SSE Arena, Wembley on Nov. 11, 2017. Wonderwall.com is showing you the stylish stars who nailed their looks — and those who needed some help — starting with host Rita Ora. Suffice to say her bathrobe and towel turban ensemble was a bust, but at least it had everyone talking! And considering it was part of a show-opening gag — she got a call claiming MTV needed a host at the last minute, so she rushed right over — she gets a pass. Keep reading to get a closer look at Rita dripping in diamonds and to see more fashion hits and misses from the annual MTV award show…

At least Rita Ora had time to dress herself in diamonds. Her stunning necklaces and earrings were everything. And she knows it.
It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's Kesha. The pop star donned a sequined unicorn cowgirl look complete with a shimmering cape while backstage at the 2017 MTV EMAs. We won't lie — we hate it — but for some reason, on Kesha, it totally works!
Kesha looked like a musical Rainbow Brite with her pale pink hair, red eye makeup and turquoise eagle bolo tie.
Who cares if it's autumn? Lana Del Rey channeled spring — and looked great doing it — in a long-sleeved floral wrap dress by Gucci. Take a look at her heels next…
The sky-high slit in Lana Del Rey's Gucci dress helped show off her sky-high lavender and rhinestone sandals.
We love Demi Lovato's plaid menswear look. Her Cher-hair is epic. And it's clear that she's confident — as she should be! But we still think that Styland suit would actually have looked a lot better with a li'l something underneath. Now let's take a closer look at her makeup…
Demi Lovato embraced the red eyeshadow trend and avoided looking sick or tired thanks to pairing the hard-to-wear hue with some serious false lashes. She smartly went with a nude lip to keep all the drama on her peepers.
Jared Leto brought clown style to the MTV EMAs red carpet in a pink blouse, lavender jacket, red Gucci track pants and dirty white sneakers. Watch out, because we have a feeling that giant flower on the Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman's jacket might just squirt water.
This is anything but basic black: Model Hailey Baldwin absolutely slayed in her long-sleeved Tom Ford sequined minidress. Get a closer look at how she accessorized her glam rock 'n' roll look from head to toe next…
A messy updo, big gold hoops and a classic smoky eye were the perfect complement to Hailey Baldwin's 2017 MTV EMAs look.
Hailey Baldwin's strappy black stiletto sandals laced around a few ankle bracelets completed her sexy look.
Not too shabby, Shawn Mendes! Hailey Baldwin's new boyfriend took a chance in a black and maroon paisley-patterned bespoke suit by The Kooples — and won. Get a closer look at how the singer successfully mixed patterns next…
Mixing patterns is tricky business, but it seemed to work for Shawn Mendes, who donned both a dotted maroon shirt and a paisley-covered black suit.
French pop star Petite Meller's head-to-toe metallic rainbow look gets a hard pass. But it does make us wonder: Do she and Jared Leto share the same stylist? Get a closer look at her makeup next…
Loud doesn't just describe Petite Meller's music. When it comes to makeup, sometimes more isn't better, mon cherie.
Camila Cabello looks pretty in pink, but we just can't back this Ralph & Russo gown. If only the bodice wasn't sheer, this would have been a definite hit. Get a closer look next…
Camila Cabello's beauty look is divine — we adore the pale pink tones, nude lip and that hint of sheen — and her retro-inspired ponytail adds a playful touch. But those glittery gumball earrings have got to go!
Former One Direction star-turned-solo artist Liam Payne brought a welcome pop of color to the 2017 MTV EMAs red carpet in a bright orange jacket over a black turtleneck and skinny jeans. We love when the guys have fun with fashion!
Why should the ladies be the only ones who change looks during an award show? Liam Payne swapped his loud orange jacket for a fun peach, white and navy colorblocked one when he headed back to the press room.
"Game of Thrones" alum Natalie Dormer walked the MTV EMAs red carpet wearing a fresh take on the LBD. Netting and shimmery pinstripes for the win!
Another "Game of Thrones" star, Nathalie Emmanuel, looked sleek and sexy in another rock 'n' roll look at the MTV EMAs: a sheer black blouse over skin-tight latex trousers.
We love English singer-actress Pixie Lott's glittery Dolce & Gabbana pantsuit — especially that playful peplum waist. Get a closer look at her headpiece next…
The embroidered and jeweled headpiece Pixie Lott wore to top off her Dolce & Gabbana look was decadent and fun. The only thing we didn't like? All that branding!
Sorry, Madison Beer, but we've had our fill of this Christian Dior dress on red carpets all year long — especially the way it's always styled over the label's branded underwear. Next!
We get it — we like to be comfortable too. But Kylie Jenner's boo and soon-to-be baby daddy, rapper Travis Scott, looks like he didn't even try.
Charli XCX, is that you? The British pop star almost always brings wild, adventurous looks to the red carpet, so it's surprising to see her in toned-down makeup and a dressed-down look like this cropped ensemble by Off-White. But we have to admit, we like it!
We have some "Issues" with singer-songwriter Julia Michaels' MTV EMAs look: Though love the two-tone leather and how she let her tattoos play the part of accessories, that pants-skirt hybrid on her bottom half ruined it for us.
Lo siento, Sofia Reyes, but your MTV EMAs look is just one more reason we want the bra-as-red-carpet-wear trend to end already! What a waste of the Mexican singer-actress's great pink high-waisted pants and embroidered jacket!
Irish TV presenter and model Laura Whitmore, however, rocked a red carpet lingerie look the right way: Her lacy bodysuit added feminine flair to an otherwise rock 'n' roll ensemble — and you've got to love that studded leather jacket perched oh-so-casually on her shoulders.
Daya's super-simple blush-hued minidress is fun and flirty. We just wish she'd done a little more with her hair!
We love singer-songwriter Skylar Grey's music — and how she kept it low-key and classy in a vintage wide-legged jumpsuit by Armani.
Thankfully, we were so busy focusing on British singer James Bay's new short haircut that we hardly paid attention to his oversized polka-dot blouse. It's great that he tried something other than a standard blazer, but next time, James, go down a few sizes.
Anyone who lives in Britain or Ireland knows that nobody loves a sequined tuxedo jacket more than the twins of Irish singing-presenting duo Jedward. Considering what they've worn at other award shows, these sparkly gold tuxedos get a big thumbs up.
Sabrina Carpenter looks like she's swimming in this black lace Roberto Cavalli gown, which is far too matronly for the teen singer-actress.
Rapper French Montana brought some great fall style to the press room at the 2017 MTV EMAs. Between the turtleneck, striped sweater and camel coat, he couldn't have looked cozier.
DJ David Guetta, who brought son Elvis as his date to the MTV EMAs, looked slick and stylish in a black suit by The Kooples.
British rapper Stefflon Don's MTV EMAs look might be sending mixed messages, but ours is clear: Her bikini top and black-and-red fur coat combo leave us feeling cold.
Model and socialite Lady Victoria Hervey looked elegant — maybe a little too elegant — in a silver sequined sheath featuring a train on the MTV EMAs red carpet.
Presenter Maya Jama's white cheongsam mini, which she paired with dangling earrings and strappy silver sandals, struck the perfect chord at the MTV EMAs.
