(One family will win $15K to help fund their positive and impactful entrepreneurial idea to help make the world a better place.) Hilary Duff on Jif Peanut Butter's Imagine If, With Jif contest with Boys and Girls Club of America:
"I have a 6-year-old little boy and a daughter on the way, and I believe so much in the power of kids changing the world and really listening to them and facilitating their creative side. This contest is all about nourishing the potential that they have to change the world and listening to their ideas. It comes from the heart when it comes from the kids, and I think that's really beautiful. I love that Jif's mission is to help make an authentic dream a reality with these kids, who are thinking of ideas to help make the world a better place and to reach other children. It's really a beautiful message and such an awesome contest for a family to get involved in."

Hilary Duff on how her son, Luca, is learning about philanthropy and giving back:
"He's still young, but we're constantly cleaning out closets and his toy room and donating stuff that we don't need anymore. It's a hard concept for a 6 year old to wrap their head around, but he's finally understanding. I think his school really helps. They almost weekly are donating food to food pantries — and that's all with the families' involvement with the kids remembering to bring nonperishable foods to school. We work with a homeless shelter where we're donating bags and bags of clothes every single week, and they do this thing called Socktober where kids are bringing bags of socks to school every day — fresh pairs of socks, which are really needed in the homeless community. I didn't know that was a really needed item. So he's getting really involved and he understands compassion and the fact that not every kid has what he has and that it's important to share what you have."

Hilary Duff on why she's looking forward to her son heading back to school:
"I'm nearing the end of my pregnancy, so I'm just a little slower than normal. I have a kid who I swear someone inserted batteries somewhere and I haven't been able to find them yet. So he's just go, go, go, go, go! I think I'm just looking for a little more structure and a few more hours in the day to have to myself to kind of get ready for the baby. My house is under construction right now. We're finishing up his room and the nursery and it's a lot. I could use an hour a day to sit down."
Hilary Duff on how she's feeling as she approaches her due date:
"I feel great! And I have to say, she's been a very, very good baby to me. I'd say the hardest challenge was probably my first trimester: keeping it a secret and feeling so tired and shooting long hours [of 'Younger'] and being in New York away from my other baby. That was emotional and exhausting. Then once I wrapped the show, I was feeling way better. But she's been good to me. Besides being tired, I haven't been sick — and my skin's been good! I think having another child to focus on makes pregnancy go by a lot faster. You don't have time to Google every little ache or pain you have. It's gone by very fast, so it's been good. I can't wait to meet her. I'm really excited to become a mom of a girl — and very nervous at the same time."
Hilary Duff on her nerves about having a daughter:
"I grew up in a girls' household. I have a sister. My sister now has two daughters — and they're just sassy. They're so smart so soon. My sister's daughters are really sweet, but they're sassy. I'm like, 'Oh my God, what is this about?' This is probably, like, some kind of revenge because Luca is just the sweetest child, and I feel like little girls kinda give you a run for your money."
Hilary Duff on Luca's concerns about adding a baby to the family:
"I don't think that he's not super-stoked. I think that he has normal, natural concerns. When [my boyfriend] Matt [Koma] and I decided to start trying to have a baby, obviously Luca was considered with every decision made. But it's been him and I for six years, so thinking about introducing a baby is [a major change]. He already fully understands everything that's going on, so he's like, 'Woah, woah, woah, babies cry all the time; babies drool on things; babies need their mom.' He knows how babies eat — literally attached to the mom. I think he's just a little scared of having to share time. But we've had so many good conversations about it, and I think he's feeling OK. My sister has a new baby, and we've been spending a lot of time with them and he thinks she's adorable. He'll lift her foot up and be like, 'Oh my God, she's just so tiny and adorable.' He's really funny and has a good sense of humor. I think when she comes, it's really gonna be just a chemical thing — how you are with family where it just feels right and it feels like it's supposed to be. I think that's what will happen: Everything will just fall into place."
Hilary Duff on staying fit during her pregnancy:
"I have been trying to do things in moderation. I have been exercising a lot more during this pregnancy cause I've felt a lot better than I did the first time around. So I'm staying on an exercise routine that feels good. I take this running class in L.A. that's like half floor exercises with weights and then running. Instead of running, I'm doing fast walking. I try to do that four times a week. The first time [I was pregnant], I stopped exercising, and then that encouraged me to eat poorly because I know I'm not putting in the work. So this time around, I've been having really fun cheat days, which is important during pregnancy, but I'm also trying to eat [well]. I've been craving fruit a lot, which is great — so lots of fruit and veggies. But also the carb craving is so real that it's important to keep the workouts going. And I've just been busy. With Luca, I wasn't working, so this time around, I don't have as much time to focus on me, and I think that's helped me stay a little more in shape."
