Megyn Kelly and NBC escalate war of words amid exit talks
It's been a little over a week since NBC pulled the plug on Megyn Kelly's hour at "Today," but the network and the controversial former Fox News host still haven't come to an agreement about her exit. Lawyers for both NBC and Megyn have come out swinging, calling out the other side for leaking details of settlement conversations after it was reported that Megyn wants the money that's left on her three-year contract (upwards of $50 million), plus more money to remain quiet about what life was like at NBC (about $10 million — which her attorney has denied). Meanwhile, the network has reinstated Al Roker on the third hour of "Today" — a position he held for five years before Megyn took over.

Halloween costume battle of the morning shows!
Forget the drama of Megyn Kelly's recent blackface comments scandal, or NBC vs. ABC ratings. On Oct. 31, the only contest that morning show hosts cared about was who had the best Halloween costumes. Getups worn by talent on NBC's "Today" show included Willie Geist as Ferris Bueller, Al Roker and Dylan Dreyer as Doc and Marty McFly from "Back to the Future," Jenna Bush Hager as Maverick from "Top Gun" and Hoda Kotb as vintage Elton John. Over on ABC's "Good Morning America," the costumes included Robin Roberts as Dominique Deveraux from "Dynasty," Amy Robach as Peg Bundy, Ginger Zee as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle and Michael Strahan as Mr. T. Pretty solid 1980s costumes all around if you ask us!

Naomi Watts cast as lead in "Game of Thrones" prequel
Big casting news for Naomi Watts! The actress has been tapped to play the lead in the "Game of Thrones" prequel pilot for HBO, although the network is keeping specifics about her role under wraps. All we know is that she plays "a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret." Even though that's not much to go on, we are definitely intrigued!

"Boy Meets World" star William Daniels, who played Mr. Feeny, was hailed this week for foiling an intruder who was breaking into his home. The beloved actor, who won two Emmys for his work on "St. Elsewhere" in the '80s, was in his house on the outskirts of Los Angeles with his wife when they heard someone try to kick in a side door. William quickly turned on all the lights and the would-be thief ran off.
"The Voice" star Beverly McClellan dies of cancer at 49
Sad news for "The Voice" fans: Beverly McClellan — who made waves on the first season of the hit NBC show — has passed away at 49 after being diagnosed with Stage 4 endometrial cancer. "It is with great sadness I have to share the news that we lost Beverly today," her publicist said in a statement on Oct. 30. "She was a wonderful, funny, complicated and incredibly talented young woman who touched millions with her voice and her huge heart."
"Party Down South" star Taylor Wright arrested for second time in three days
Some could say that "Party Down South" star Taylor Wright is having a very bad week. The reality TV personality was arrested on Oct. 31 for taking her kids across state lines, which is in violation of her custody agreement. Earlier in the week, Taylor was arrested for punching her mother-in-law in the face, though the actual incident took place in June. Taylor and her husband were allegedly having an argument when he left and she followed him to his mother's house.
"The Voice" contestant Cody Ray Raymond leaves to deal with "personal matters"
"The Voice" fan favorite Cody Ray Raymond abruptly left the hit show to deal with some personal issues, Kelly Clarkson announced during the Oct. 29 show. "To all my supporters and new fans, thank you all for the love with my journey so far, but due to personal matters, I've had to bring my Voice chapter to an end. I'm okay, my family's okay and stay tuned for new music coming. Sending love back," Cody posted on Twitter.
