Demi Lovato leaves rehab after three-month stay
Demi Lovato is out of rehab and doing well. The singer was spotted out and about in Los Angeles on Nov. 3 — more than three months after she entered a treatment facility following a nearly fatal drug overdose. Demi was all smiles as she left Matsuhisa, a sushi restaurant in Beverly Hills, with clothing designer and fellow recovering addict Henry Levy, with whom she grabbed coffee a few days later too.

Missy Elliott becomes first female rapper nominated for Songwriters Hall of Fame
Missy Elliott is making history! The 47-year-old music star became the first female rapper to be nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame, according to a Nov. 7 announcement. Missy is joined by fellow class of 2019 nominees Mariah Carey, Chrissie Hynde, Vince Gill, the Beach Boys' Mike Love, Jimmy Cliff, Jeff Lynne, Cat Stevens, John Prine, Lloyd Price, Tommy James and the Eurythmics (Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart).

Selena Gomez checks out of hospital after one month of treatment
Selena Gomez is on the road to recovery. The pop star left a New York psychiatric facility where she has been receiving treatment following a mental health crisis in October. Selena is reportedly "refreshed and is in a better headspace," a source told E! News on Nov. 7, adding that she is "out of her treatment program in NYC and is doing much better."

An Aretha Franklin concert documentary, "Amazing Grace," will finally be released after 46 years in the vault, the singer's estate announced on Nov. 5. The film, which captured Aretha's 1972 performance at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church in Los Angeles, will premiere Nov. 12 at the DOC NYC film festival.

Ariana Grande will be honored as Billboard's 2018 Woman of Year, the magazine announced on Nov. 6. The pop star will received the award on Dec. 6 at the 13th Annual Women in Music dinner and awards gala in New York City.
Vancouver casino issues apology in wake of Drake's racial profiling accusations
A casino in Vancouver issued an apology on Nov. 5 after rapper Drake accused the establishment of racial profiling. "You may be aware of a situation at our casino last night," Parq Casino said in a statement. "On behalf of Parq Vancouver we would like to apologize for the experience our customer had." Drake called the casino the "worst run business I have ever witnessed" on his Instagram stories after he was not allowed to gamble there on Nov. 4.

Roy Hargrove, the famed jazz musician and trumpeter (pictured), died on Nov. 2 at age 49 after going into cardiac arrest. Dave Rowland, the lead singer of Dave & Sugar, died on Nov. 1 at age 74.
Geri Halliwell reveals proper pronunciation of signature Spice Girls lyric
Looks like Spice Girls fans have been singing the wrong lyrics for years! Geri Halliwell revealed the correct lyrics to one of their signature songs, "Spice Up Your Life," on Nov. 6. "@spicegirls -hai-Si-ja-hold tight #spicegirls #tour2019," she captioned an Instagram video of their reunion announcement. While many thought the girls were saying "I See Ya" at the end of the song, they were really saying "yes, yes, yes," in three different languages — Japanese, Spanish and German.
