Avril Lavigne and billionaire boyfriend Phillip Sarofim look as serious as ever
Avril Lavigne's romance with Houston-based billionaire Phillip Sorofim is still going strong. The couple, who were first spotted together in March, stopped by a bistro in West Hollywood on Saturday, July 7, where they did little to hide their feelings for each other. Pics published by the Daily Mail showed the two holding each other tightly, a look of pure joy plastered across the singer's face as she wrapped her arms around her boyfriend. Phillip's dad, Fayez Sarofim, is the heir to his Egyptian family's fortune and partial owner of the Houston Texans. Kylie Jenner announces she 'got rid of' her lip fillers
Three years after Kylie Jenner admitted she'd been using lip fillers, the "Lip Kit" developer's pout is all natural once more. A fan caught onto the fact that something looked different about Kylie after she shared a selfie over the weekend with her bestie, Stassie Karanikolaou. "She looks like the old Kylie here idk why," the fan commented in a screenshot published by E! News. In the 2015 edition of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" where she copped to using temporary fillers, Kylie said her lips had been "an insecurity" of hers and that she'd "tiptoed around" the truth about having used them because she's judged so quickly on social media. As a new mom, the 20-year-old seems ready to be real about her appearance insecurities. "Stormi reminds me, she's my twin. Now she's like, looking a lot more like her dad," Kylie told fans in a video Q over the weekend. "The one thing I was insecure about, she has β she has the most perfect lips in the whole entire world. She didn't get those from me."

Flashback! Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's engagement comes nine years after they first met
When Justin Bieber popped the question to Hailey Baldwin in the Bahamas over the weekend, plenty of eyebrows were raised over the fact that the couple has only been dating (this time around) for a few weeks. But a quick trip in the old way back machine reminds us just how long these two have been a part of one another's lives. A shot from the February 2011 premiere of Hailey's dad, Stephen Baldwin's movie, "Never Say Never," shows Hailey and Justin sharing some arm-in-arm hangtime with Stephen. And as an old-school video that resurfaced over the weekend via the Daily Mail reminds us, it was Stephen who first introduced his daughter to his future son-in-law. "We've been enjoying your music," Stephen tells a 15-year-old(ish) Justin in the clip as he stands beside his daughter, who appears to be about 13 in the 2009 clip. "This is my daughter Hailey," he tells the Biebs. Hailey and Justin then shake hands, apparently sealing the deal on what was to become a pretty serious relationship. According to interviews Hailey's given since then, she and Justin became quick pals. "I've known him for a long time, since I was about 13," she told E! News in 2015 amid early romance rumors about the two. Assuring the outlet she and Justin were "just friends," Hailey explained: "He's just going through a time in his life where he's transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I'm trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him." Hailey and Justin reportedly got engaged before diners at a resort restaurant in the Bahamas on Saturday, July 7. Here's to old friends β and new love!

Khloe Kardashian opens up about giving up breastfeeding
After weeks of trying to breastfeed her daughter, True Thompson, Khloe Kardashian has finally waved a white flag and moved on. On Saturday, July 7, the new mom opened up about the process in a Twitter chat with fans. Asked if she uses a breast pump while she's at work, Khloe replied, "I had to stop breast feeding π©π©π© it was really hard for me to stop (emotionally) but it wasn't working for my body. Sadly," (via ET) .When another user suggested she go heavy with her water intake, Khloe said she had given everything a try. "Ugh it wasn't that easy for me," she wrote. "I tried every trick in the book- water, special cookies, power pumping, massages etc. I tried so very hard to continue." As other fans commiserated with her, Khloe went on to say that like one of her fans, though she felt terrible about giving up, she felt relieved to let go of the stress that came with continuing to try to breastfeed unsuccessfully. "Oh my gosh I was the same!!" she wrote. " I fought and fought to try and continue but then when I actually stopped, I didn't realize what a relief it was for me to not stress and worry anymore. Any sec I had of downtime I was stressing to produce more for the next feeding."
Duchess Meghan's Brit-ified accent is 'absolutely normal,' says speech expert
Is the Duchess of Sussex adopting a British accent to match her new royal title? As she continues making public appearances βmany of which have featured moments in which she sweetly introduces herself and asks the names of her fans and well-wishers β some controversy has arisen around the way she's started to speak. The Guardian checked in with a handful of experts who acknowledged that while her accent does sound different, the shift is understandable. "You can hear some sounds changing, yes," speech and dialect coach John Fleming tells the paper. "Some examples can be heard in her R sounds at the end of syllables. In recent clips, those Rs are lighter than the typical general American accent. She is also using the British English vowel normally heard in the word 'thought' in the phrase 'We all had a nice day', in the word 'all'." Dialect coach Pamela Vanderway also agrees Meghan's accent has changed, but cautions that the actress could be expected to develop a different approach to her speech given her new life. "It's absolutely normal for a human being to take on the accent of the people around them when they want to belong to that group," she says. "Accents are one of the ways human beings identify as being part of a group. [In] Meghan's situation, she is representing the royal family, so she's part of England. So there's a particular pull for her to take on that way of speaking [and] she may or may not be taking it on consciously. Prince Charles himself, if you look up his first television interview ever, his accent has changed. Speech is a living thing. It's not locked down." It's not permanent, either. Lindsay Lohan, who began speaking in an unidentifiable European accent after moving away from the U.S., has since dropped the accent.

Michael Buble thought he'd never return to music after his son's cancer diagnosis
When Michael Buble's son, Noah, was diagnosed with cancer in 2016, the singer thought his life in music β and his wife, Luisana Lopilato's career as an actress β were finished. "I truly thought I'd never come back to music," he recently told Australia's Herlad Sun newspaper. "Family is what matters. The health of my children is number one. The relationship with my family, my wife, my faith β all of it is easily number one." Since then, Noah's made incredible progress towards becoming cancer-free. In 2017, ET reported Noah, now 4, had almost totally recovered. With that update, the singer began making his way back onstage. "I don't talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much. It's my boy. He's a superhero, he doesn't need to relive it over and again. But I've been to hell. And you know what, hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we've been," Michael told The Sun. "I remember sitting in the hospital room thinking 'I was worried about any of that sβ? I was worried about record sales or a meme or what some aβhole said about me? In a second it had gotten so clear. That clarity gave me the opportunity to find love (for music) again." He added: "I'm going to go back to what I was made to do. I'm going to come back to a world that needs love and romance and laughter more than it has in a long time. I'm going to be a conduit to that." Michael recently revealed he and Luisiana, who is pregnant with the couple's third child, are expecting a little girl.
Cardi B claps back at baby shower dis
Don't mess with Cardi B when it comes to her husband, her baby or her Bronx upbringing β unless you're prepared for a serious clap-back. Over the weekend, the rapper posted a photo of herself sitting on Offset's lap at the late-night, Bronx-themed shower, when a commenter took a dig at her, writing, "All that money and the baby shower look like a bucket of CORN. Cardi's response? "It was beautiful and we was happy. Your mom waited a whole nine months for you to be ugly and a bucket of disappointment." D'oh! Event planner Karleen Rpy explained to Us Weekly that the "Bardi" shower was meant to "pay homage to where" the rapper is from. "We had a black ballet company that were all teen girls, they were dancing to 'Bodak Yellow' and other Cardi songs," she said. "They were beautiful dancers, still very soft, they were on pointe and dancing traditional ballet, but to hip hop." Cardi recently revealed she and Offset, who were believed to be engaged at the time, had married last year.
Robin Wright addresses Kevin Spacey allegations: 'I didn't know the man'
Robin Wright worked closely with Kevin Spacey from 2013 until her onscreen husband was unceremoniously axed from "House of Cards" amid allegations of sexual misconduct. She'd largely remained mum on the subject of his firing, but with the show's final season on the horizon, she's broken her silence on the matter. In an appearance on "Today" on Monday, July 9, the actress tells Savannah Guthrie that, like showrunner Beau Willimon, she was unaware of her costar's allegedly inappropriate behavior on-set. "Kevin and I knew each other between action and cut, and in between setups, where we would giggle," Robin says. "I didn't really β¦ I didn't know the man. I knew the incredible craftsman that he is." Vulture notes that three crew members from the show have said Kevin's alleged behavior was no secret in the "House of Cards" community, where it was sometimes talked about in production meetings. Kevin's scandal erupted in October after actor Anthony Rapp claimed the star had tried to have sex with him when he was 14. "I honestly do not remember the encounter, it would have been over 30 years ago," Kevin said in response. "But if I did behave then as he describes, I owe him the sincerest apology for what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior." He has denied the other allegations of misconduct that have surfaced since.
