Did Sarah Jessica Parker skip the Met Gala because of a grudge?
Why did Sarah Jessica Parker skip the Met Gala this year? While a source told People the longtime fashion lover bailed on her favorite event "to stay and work on her HBO series 'Divorce,'" Celebitchy wonders if SJP may have been holding a grudge against critics of her 2016 Met Gala ensemble, many of whom joked she looked like Lin Manuel-Miranda in "Hamilton" despite the "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology" theme. The criticism was so widespread Sarah even wrote a piece in T magazine defending her look, which she said was inspired by her interest in "fashion in the age of 18th Century technology" after having seen "Hamilton" multiple times, according to Vanity Fair. "What is technology? And what does it mean when applied to fashion?," she asked in the piece. "We didn't want it to be about the electronic screen or something that could turn on and off. We wanted it to be about the technology of thought, of application, of fabrication. The technology of the hand and the machine."

Michael Fassbender jokes that he's better looking than Tom Hiddleston
"Alien: Covenant" star Michael Fassbender tries hard to keep his private life out of the public sphere. "Number one, I think it's effective for me as an actor because I want to be able to disappear into the characters I play," he explains in a new interview with the Daily Telegraph (via Celebitchy). "I don't want the audience to be distracted by whatever else is seen of me in the real world I would consider myself a private person. I work in a medium where we rely on the public to go see it. But my own life is for me." Unfortunately, not everyone sees it that way — particularly the peeps who constantly mistake him for Tom Hiddleston. "Happens all the time," Michael admits before joking, "I can see the similarities, but I'm better looking than him [laughs]. Other than that, yes. I like Tom."
